This battery replaced six 6 volt batteries in my Star golf cart. With one very minor modification, the new battery fit well in the existing battery tray. The cart is now 300 pounds lighter, is faster, and the charge has never dropped below 70%, even after 18 holes of golf and a 10 minute (each way) round trip to the golf course. Initially, I though the included battery monitor would be a big plus but the bluetooth app is far better with much more information and better accuracy. I now use the bluetooth app instead of the monitor because it is so much better than the monitor. The charger is small and light weight and charges the battery in a couple of hours (compared to overnight with the old lead acid batteries). The new charger fits well in the space left from removing the old lead acid batteries (with a lot of extra room left over). Shipping was quick and packaging was excellent.     • “Light” & reasonable installation
Replacing 6 lead acid batteries at about 70 lb each to a single less than 70 lb battery is a center of gravity change. The battery does about 4 miles on a mostly flat surface using 12% of battery (very old cart and motor). The App is easy to use don’t read to much into it, it has the % left. Good app info but a lot of information for a beginner. The battery holds a charge much better than my old lead acids. Easy charge, bought the 25a charger reasonable charge time and light enough to stow in the front of the cart. Been using about two weeks and seems to do well. Conversion was not to hard a little battery area modification and lots of pictures of wires to keep them where they belong . Reality “Maintenance free”. ... show more

    • Great battery for my Golf Cart upgrade!
My Cart has so much more pep than before. It holds charge a lot longer and with only a fraction of the weight. Definitely worth the upgrade! I live in a senior community, and it seems like the lithium battery conversion is booming out here!

Got this to replace 6 lead-acid batteries in my early 90's Club Car golf cart. Was a little more of a project than I thought (definitely take a lot of before pictures of wiring). Had to create a platform from ply as the previous batteries rested on angle iron supports. Because of the frame support of the cart, I had to position the battery front to back, but there was just enough space to fit. The kit had the battery, onboard charger, and display (short whip on wiring, you'll need to add more); so the only extra items I had to buy were the port plug (replaces the old charger plug), a voltage reducer to feed 12v to the lights, battery straps, wire connectors, etc. The instructions could've been a little better, but found some clarification on youtube videos. It came with 100% charge and I've been driving it 3-4 miles and still 100%, so can't really say how far I'll get on a charge. Took it by the HOA speed trap and it clocked in at 17 mph on the flat. 6 new Trojan lead-acid batteries would've cost me about $200 more, so not only did I save money, but virtually no maintenance and probably 5 times the life span. ... show more

So far very impressed. The cart went 12mph gps before, now it goes 15-16mph and only takes 2 hrs to charge from 50% to 100% not bad for the same price as walmart lead cell batteries
