Description

Your Tiny Maestro introduces young viewers to the music of Mozart, Bach, and Beethoven through a delightful cast of playful puppets and live-action peers. The video encourages a child's early interest in listening to and creating music. Your Tiny Maestro skillfully interweaves puppetry, classical music, baby and farm animal photography, and folk songs into a 30-minute presentation that captures the attention of even the most active toddler. Young children are almost universally intrigued by puppetry, children like themselves, animals, and folk songs. Research further asserts that playing classical music stimulates brain development in infants, toddlers, and young children. Much like Baby Mozart or Baby Music School: Classical, Your Tiny Maestro presents an appealing variety of classical music (performed primarily on synthesizer) by famous composers like Mozart, Bach, and Beethoven in a visually stimulating format. What's unique to Your Tiny Maestro is the engaging puppetry and the real-life footage of children at play. Child-testers of varied ages found Your Tiny Maestro the most intriguing of a wide sampling of similar products. This is an entertaining program that encourages cognitive development in children age 1 to 4 years. --Tami Horiuchi

  • Excellent
My child can't have enough of this video

  • Our kids love it
We have had this video for years. Both of our kids have enjoyed it immensely. Similar to the Baby Mozrt or Baby Bach videos there are random scenes shown, usually of puppets playing and having fun, with a classical music background being played. The purpose of the video is to get the child to hear the classical music. I remember when I was a child watching old cartoons that played classical music in the soundtrack. Years later when I was formally exposed to these musical pieces I recognized them. That is what this tape does. Later as your children grow up they will be able to appreciate the music by itself. Is this tape better than Baby Mozart or Baby Bach? Hardly. In fact, I would probably give this video 3.5 stars and the Baby Mozart and Einstein 4.5 stars (I take off half a star for their blatant marketing of toys to the kids). ... show more
