The GoFit ClearTex Backless Booster seat is designed for children who are at least 4 years old, between 40-110 lbs. and 38-57” tall, and can sit relatively still in the same seated position throughout the car ride. For big kid comfort, the contoured ErgoBoost seat and double foam padding provide support in all the right places. ClearTex fabric features no added chemicals for gentle, child comfort and parent peace of mind. GREENGUARD GOLD Certified, GoFit ClearTex has been tested for low chemical emissions, contributing to healthier air quality around child. GoFit ClearTex is equipped with integrated lap belt guides and a shoulder belt clip to help position the vehicle seat belt for proper use. A built-in carry handle makes it easy to transfer this portable booster seat from vehicle to vehicle and a smooth underside helps protect vehicle seats from damage. Two soft-sided CupFolders easily flex and fold out of the way to save space. For parent convenience, the cup holders are easy to remove and dishwasher safe. All fabrics are also removable and machine-washable, including the pop-out arm rest covers. Portable and convenient, the GoFit Backless Booster is an ideal travel booster seat.

Going from a car seat to a booster was light going from night to day. It's so much easier to put my kid in the car now, especially not having to deal with the menagerie of straps that constantly get tangled. I also love that this booster is extremely lightweight and portable. It requires no installation and my daughter has not complained once about being uncomfortable. This booster also incudes a clip that makes sure that the shoulder harness stays on the child's shoulder, a huge plus. There are also two convenient cupholders which my daughter uses to hide quarters and little toys. The cost for this unit is not too bad either. Much cheaper than a car seat. While you can break the bank and get an extravagant booster, I believe that is only for status as even the cheaper ones can do everything needed and comply to the same safety standards. Okay the seat itself was almost perfect! It was a good car seat durable, comfy and had two cup holder only downside it didn’t have the seat securement latches. I don’t know the proper name but example the metal clamps/attachments that affix to the metal latches in your seat of car with the little seatbelt icons. Yeah those. Now the is a similar one that has the clamps and it’s the deluxe or something. I would have given a five if it was the one I replaced this one with. ... show more

It’s easy to install. My daughter liked it. I bought it for my parents car. It doesn’t take up a lot of space and it’s fairly light to move. To me there wasn’t enough padding. I’d imagine one longer trip it would have to be uncomfortable. We didn’t test that theory though.

This is a wonderful booster seat. I read many reviews before settling on the "Chicco GoFit Backless Booster Car Seat," and while I don't always purchase a product based solely on reviews, I have to say the customers were totally right about this seat. My grandson loves it - and the 2 cup holders (1 for the sippy cup, and 1 for a Matchbox car!). It's so simple to place in the car, the cover's washable (already been tried!) and it's basically just place, strap in and go. Love it! ... show more
