This comforter is very beautiful on the bed with the accent pillows and shams. My wife was not too happy with the thickness but I thought it was just fine. Also it is very warm. I only wish the matching drapes were not so cheap and the tassels when dried per the instructions broke apart and we're all over the place in the dryer and inside the drapes. The media could not be loaded. Roughly fluff up the pillows when you get them. Everything comes vacuumed packed which is ingenious as it means a smaller box. So don’t be afraid to fluff the heck out of the pillows. They are stuffed with polyester batting so fluff very easily. A great set for the low cost! As you came see in photos I bought two sets (1 Queen and 1 King) to have double the throw pillows and two sizes of shams. I love it! I also ended up preferring the side length of the king comforter as my queen bed is very high and I have a down comforter under this decorative comforter so this king looks more generous than the queen, which was also fine but I like this look better. ... show more

I was looking for a new comforter set for my king size bed because my other set is six years old and worn down. After reading the reviews, I went ahead and purchased this set. My bedroom is done in purple and this comforter set matched the color of my room according to the pictures shown. When I received my purchase the color was not at all close to the color shown in the photos. Also, it was made very poorly. It looks worse then my original set that I wanted to replace.
