I like the dry to touch tire coatings instead of the wet shine stuff that slings around. This one is great - it dries nicely with a medium shine that is fairly durable. My favorite part is how easy it is to apply. It comes out as a paste so it’s easy to get on your pad and easy to control as you go around the tire. I tried the exoforma stuff before and, while it worked similarly once dry, it is a runny liquid and was difficult to apply and tended to drip on the wheels. The media could not be loaded. First let me start off by saying I prepped the Surface by cleaning it with soap and water and using isopropyl alcohol then treated the surface with a sponge and the product. It looked great, it conditioned the plastic bumper trim on my car and took away that faded look making it look new and shiny. I allowed it to 24 hours to dry before getting it wet and then it rained two days after application. When the rain stopped some areas of the rear bumper looks like they did prior to application and you could see the faded plastic rain drips and faded streak like patterns downward where the product did not hold up. The inner trim of the doors still looks amazing a week later. I also used it on the interior Dash and the trim on the side mirrors but I used f11 before I use the chemical guys on the side mirrors and it seemed to hold up better than just the Chemical Guys product alone. I'm going to try to use the f11 and then the Chemical Guys on the bumper to see if that works better. I'm giving it the four stars because it was easy to apply, did make the plastic look better, did not affect the paint on the areas of the car that I got it on it was easy to wipe off and in some areas of the car it held up just not the rear bumper against the water and rain. I also applied it to the tires and even through the rain the tires look great. Definitely follow the instructions on wiping off the excess product with a damp microfiber cloth and then with a dry microfiber cloth for a longer lasting effect. ... show more

It works really good with all like it says whoever plastic vinyl anything has a decent smell to it exit smells pretty good and puts a good good coating on it protects and I haven't had to put a second layer on anything that I put it on so far and that was been a month ago. I used to use different types of commercial dressings cuz I had two detail shops and I just bought one bottle of this just to try it out but will soon probably by some bigger bottles or a tub of it with some empty bottles to distribute out. Really good product and it seems like it is really worth the money and would be definitely be getting more. ... show more

Used this on several different rubber/plastic parts, better shine and less greasy feeling than Armorall. Also appears to last longer (the shine). It does still have some greasy feeling if applying on a mat, especially if you use a lot. I would recommend letting it sit a few hours before use, but you don't have to, it really does dry very quickly, I have just noticed that the longer you let it dry before stepping on it, the better the staying power and less product transfer. ... show more

I’ve been using Chemical Guys VRP on my rubber floor mats and tires, and overall, it delivers fantastic results. One of the best things about it is that it doesn’t leave a greasy or slippery residue like some other products I’ve tried. The finish is nice and matte, enhancing the look of my mats and tires without making them look overly shiny. However, I did notice that I go through the product fairly quickly, especially when applying it to larger surfaces. While it’s effective and gives great results, I wish it lasted a bit longer.
