  • Great practice for beginners and veterans
Style Name: Blue (2.5 Pound)
This practice ball has been a game-changing help for me as a beginner bowler. I struggle with a consistent release, and only had the time and money for so many games a week. Then I found this. The foam ball is slightly smaller than an actual bowling ball. It has several different finger configurations to accomodate different hand spans. It could be problematic for someone with a very large span, but it works well for smaller and average. This ball is great for practicing a consistent release and follow through to build up muscle memory. My boyfriend is also a veteran (bowling for 20+ years, over 200 average, 13 300 games, etc) and he uses it to fine-tune his game and practice his timing. Even veterans need to practice the basics! The ball is lightweight at less than 3 pounds. I have had no issues using it inside the house. If you have neighbors, such as in an apartment, they WILL hear it hit the wall. So I would suggest using an outside wall...or a piece of furniture, which is what I do with no issue. ... show more

  • Rough cut edges around the holes
Style Name: Red (1 Pound)
It’s light enough to be thrown around the house without damaging furniture or walls. But, there’s a protruding middle line all around the ball and the precut holes are really rough. It’s way overpriced for the quality and workmanship. Will return it.

  • Very good product, just what I needed
Style Name: Red (1 Pound)
Excellent! Firm but soft enough to not cause damage to walls. Small but large enough for adults

  • great training device for beginning kids.
Style Name: Blue (2.5 Pound)
I use it to let the kids see how to hold the ball while swinging it back and forth to get the right rhythm.

  • I have a dislocated wrist
Style Name: Blue (2.5 Pound)
I am on a bowling team I bowl most of the year and it really helps having this bowling ball because it's only 2 and half pounds instead of the ones at the bowling alley that are about 6 pounds it will make it easier for me

  • Really good practice ball; finger holes a little small for adults
Style Name: Red (1 Pound)
This foam ball is a lot better to practice your swing or release with than another, hollow ball I have used. It is a little smaller than a regulation ball, and the finger hole patterns, while varied, are a little small even for a relatively short guy (that's the star I deducted). So, the grip difference is significant, but it is still a great ball for working on approach, swing or release mechanics, or maybe even some lawn bowling. I imagine it would be really good for beginners who want to improve without buying or before they buy their own ball. ... show more
