The height of the 7 gallon bucket works very well for my legs when sitting. The original lid that comes with it snaps on tight. The cushion is ok, but I do not think it would be good for sitting on for a long period and seems to sag as if is not supported underneath. It’s the perfect size for carrying all the baseballs needed for practice, The handle is able to hold the weight of a bucket full just fine. The height is perfect for sitting and the foam piece you sit on is adequate. With nothing on the bucket it's perfect to decorate with team stickers.
