I had to replace my old 25 year old shin guards; that were made just like these new ones. They had stood up to a lot of pounding and hard hits. So far they are working great. Seem just a bit lighter & cooler, too. Excellent Product & well made. Now for the test of time!!!

I bought these for my 15 year old daughter who plays lacrosse goalie. She was not thrilled with the purchase, she is thin and these shinguards seemed large for her. We tightened the straps and they fit fine. She is in an indoor lacrosse league and in the first game she decided to wear the Champion Shinguards because the girls shot the ball hard, her first game playing with varsity players. She thanked me after the game for getting these guards because she took some hard shots off the knees and was happy to have the protection. These shin guards dont have padding and therefore are super uncomfortable. We bought them for our 14 year old since hers had a hole and she just unwrapped them to find that theres no padding, only plastic. We cant return them now since our return window closed. She is so disappointed. DO NOT BUY THESE. Its just a cage, she wont even put them on claiming "its going to hurt so bad." ... show more
