Received this yesterday. I initially tried a less expensive, smaller unit and it just couldn't handle what I was cutting. But THIS unit? Cuts right through the fire hose I have. Inside layer is nylon bonded to rubber. Outer later is woven nylon. Cut is clean and smooth. Will adjust review after cutting a large order if necessary. I used it to cut a bunch of layer of broadcloth to make face masks, I think it was 26 layers of fabric. It worked Wonderful... also cutting the ties was easy and if i need to sharpen it theres a great stone on there to sharpen it! Here are a few bundles of the fabric I cut.
