This is working well for me. I used a bracket to attach it to the door instead of other means. I love how the picture is clear and I receive appropriate notifications when someone is at my door. Perfect! (I also changed the face plate. It was free from Ring.)

Got refurbished since it supposedly got checked. Ordered and it didn’t work, got a replacement and that one works just fine battery good

Doorbell 3 does not connect to ethernet like the technical details states. As of Aug 25th '23 "802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi connection @ 2.4GHz/5GHz or Ethernet" I give the doorbell 3 stars until I'm able to use it. I have to buy longer coax cable to get the router closer. I'm not going to downgrade the doorbell over my ISP hardware. Setup and registration was quick and easy. I like the use of QR codes when registering and giving me a step by step walk through to set up. I hope to be able to answer the doorbell call when I resolve this router issue. I still would have liked to connect it to ethernet as an option. Not everything NEEDS to be wifi especially when it's screwed into the wall. ... show more
