I'm not kidding! I've been having skin issues and I have dry sensitive skin. Swollen puffies, puckering and deep red marks which can be outbreaks as allergic reactions to fragrances and ingredients, so I do have to be very careful when selecting a product. If you are looking at this product, you have come to the right place! I kid you not, it arrived today and I went right in, washed my face and applied this toner and WOW! my face marks started to disappear; my face felt relief and moisturized AND very comfortable with a single use. My sister stepped in to see what I'd exclaimed wow about and said and I quote "I need to try that"! as she stood there as my witness. I honestly wondered after this first use if I needed to apply a moisturizer. WOW! Great budget find! I try loads of products and this one is a great alternative to micellar cleansers, makeup removers, and expensive hydrating toners like Laneige's milky ceramide toner. I am using this as an AM cleanser or to remove sunscreen in PM before washing. It's super gentle, nicely hydrating, and budget friendly. Micellar waters burn my skin so this is a great alternative to that in hard water areas where you don't want to wash your face. This fills a niche in my regimen and I'll rebuy it for sure. When they say hydrating, they really mean it! Your face ends up looking so glowy. You can definitely feel the product on your skin—this isn’t a sheer, lightweight formula. It does eventually soak in, but you can still feel it sitting on top, which I actually love because it acts as a barrier, continuously hydrating my skin. It does help with hydration. A friend recommended me to use a tonic and I chose this one. I'm pretty happy with the results. Just make sure to use a moisturizer after it.

    • Nice if your skin can handle it, but it broke me out
This is a solid toner if it works with your skin. It gives you a really nice clean feeling without completely stripping your skin or causing too much damage. It's great as a first step to prep your skin for other products, and it feels good with no irritation when it goes on. The lack of witch hazel also means you should be able to use it daily without problems (I think). However, while I really like the way this toner feels, I noticed that I was starting to break out and this toner was the only thing that changed about my routine. My skin is typically not super acne-prone and tends to take any other CeraVe product I've tried very well, so I'm not sure what it is about this one that my skin didn't like. Like any skin care product, you can never tell how your skin is going to react to it until you try it. If I didn't break out from it, this would be a really nice toner! Breakouts don't seem to be super common with this one from what I can tell from other reviews, but you never know. Overall, it's a solid toner, but be aware that there may be a risk of breakouts. If your skin is especially sensitive, I would maybe shop around a bit more. ... show more
