  • Pay attention to very low cone 02 rating
Unfortunately we were newbies when we bought these and didn't pay attention to the low temp firing of 2022F - which is around Cone 02...super low! Should have paid better attention, they melted into the pieces that we were firing at cone 5. I'd rather have equipment that can work for any firing...and not just a very low one. ... show more

  • My pieces were ruined by these sub par stilts
I have been a ceramic artist for over 23 years. These stilts broke apart and wire melted on to my students pieces. Pretty bad.

  • Broke and melted into pottery
Do not use if you are firing over cone 3. It will melt into your pottery. Most clay and glaze is come 4-6 and up.
