Giving 3 stars because I got this yesterday and used this on medium with the 4hr timer. I went to turn it on today (I left it plugged in) and the piece with the buttons was hot like it was running. It was off and the light was off and none of the wax was melted. It is making me worry about the button component running nonstop even in off mode. I will have to remember to unplug it at night. Even though I bought this with the intent to leave it plugged in. It still looks nice and melts the wax better than my other warmer. ... show more

I absolutely love this. It came within hours of me ordering the product. It is a small unit, which is ok because my desk is cluttered as it is. This throws scent really well. As a candle maker I wanted a more efficient and cost effective way to test out my new scents, so I make them as wax melts first and use this to test the throw capabilities of that fragrance. The knobs on the unit include a timer and intensity level. When I use this you can smell the wax melts all throughout the room and into the hallway. For a wax melter at this price point, purchasing this is absolute theft. Too good to be true. I will be sending my customers in need of melters here! ... show more

    • Very attractive with excellent safety measures
This unit has 3 settings so you can control how much of the candlewax scent you want emitted into your home. It is beautifully crafted, attractive and low profile. The only reason I don't give it a 5-star rating is because the top part - the part that holds the wax - is also ceramic. Wax will be difficult to remove from this container; I have foil lining the inside of it so I can quickly remove wax I don't want to use anymore. You could also buy those little coffee filter looking wax holders to put in there, as well, although they aren't cheap. I previously had a unit with a metal wax container which was great because when wax was cold I could just bang it against the garbage can and throw it away. I love the heat setting and timing features this warmer has. However, the base is not even and when the wax melts it pools to the front. It leaves parts of the dish dry and if you're using a fairly large wax cube it may overflow.

I really wanted to love this! It ticks off every box from when I was hunting for a new wax melt warmer. Unfortunately, it seems to burn too hot, even on the lowest setting (every new wax melt ends up leaving tiny brown burn spots in the dish) so the wax melts don’t put off the same amount of scent that they usually would. It also sits crooked so the wax tilts to one side. That seems to be an issue with the legs, as the housing for where the cord attaches underneath is higher than the other 2 legs. ... show more

This little paw print warmer is so adorable! I love the embossed shiny texture. It warms up very quickly. I'm using YC and Threshold from Tar.get wax melts it takes about 3-5mins and its a pool of wax. I've used YC wax Meltcups and they fit fine on top. For size reference I put my mug of hot chocolate next to it. It is an element heater, so NO bulb replacement is required. The top is removable but there is a little basin big enough that keeps the top from sliding or falling off. If you are looking for silicone liners a cupcake liner is going to fit in the center. The silicone liners that are $7.95 (May be $11.99 on Amazon) from Happy.Wax site that are a bit wider will fit perfect. You can use a regular candle on the top of the warmer (votive picture for size reference). It also has an automatic TURN OFF timer. It does NOT turn on automatically on its own, you still have to push the "big circle button" every day. OR you can buy a plug-in timer and set it to "ON". Which is the "ALWAYS ON" position. I feel like a lot of reviews there's a miss on what they are buying with the timer. I took pictures for reference that might help someone else answer all the questions I had prior to purchasing. I absolutely love wax melts and have used so many different warmer. This one by far is the best I’ve ever used. Even just on medium heat it fills my entire condo with the smell. I was looking for something to scent my bedroom at night and didn't want the hassle of essential oils, and was growing tired of the waste of glass candles. This unit is great, the design is very low key in size and color. I didn't need anything too crazy in the design department, just something small and tasteful to throw scent. The timer sealed the deal for me, I don't have to worry about shutting off the unit as the timer does this for me. My only very minor complaint (and not enough to ding it a star) is the cord underneath makes the unit slightly not level. Only slightly, and not enough to spill wax or effect the performance. But the manufacturer should put a little notch in the back for the cord to go through. Other than that this warmer is beautiful and works well ... show more
