  • Great fit and great quality
Size: 4 Color: 3.0 - Black/Dark Grey
These compression socks have worked very well for addressing my problem with swollen legs. After learning how to put them on properly (using the CEP videos), they are easy to put on and are comfortable all day long. They are very well made, look nice and I think they will wear well for a long time.

  • CEP vs. 2XU...
First off, I'm not a runner but an avid hiker in the Sierra Mountains and compression socks required for edema. These are very comfortable to wear... compared to 2XU brand, which is the first brand I bought. I bought two pairs of CEP and 2 pairs of the 2XU before deciding which were better performers. I will keep all as I can still use them all, but any further purchases will be CEP. Both brands work well with some noticeable differences. Compression socks are difficult to get on in most cases but once on, they feel comfortable. (Ask your local sports doctor on the "easy" way to get them on by turning inside out to the heel first.) The CEP brand is easier to apply than the 2XU. The CEP socks are thinner and still afford decent compression without the top of the sock "squeezing" a ring around my lower knee area, as the 2XU brand did. (The 2XU brand support well but have a much tighter upper portion than the CEP brand. Both CEP and 2XU were the same size, XL on 2XU, size IV on the CEP, on a 17" calf.) Both brands keep my edema in check when hiking or hill climbing and neither pair ride down through rigorous climbing but the CEP brand is far more comfortable at the end of the day. The 2XU brand is much harder to remove than the CEP, after the hike or heavy work in the yard. (Yes... the yard is a steep hill as well.) The CEP brand seems cooler than the 2XU, perhaps because they are slightly less "grippy". The CEP is made of polyamide and spandex vs. nylon and elastine for the 2XU (which may be the same thing with brand names thrown in) but the CEP is more flexible. The CEP brand is more expensive and one reason I look at other brands, but I guess (as the old saying goes) you get what you pay for. I now wear these pretty much all day every day for working and hiking. Both brands have performed well and no more cramps after a long hike with either brand. However as stated before, I will pay the few extra dollars for the CEP brand in the future as these are a better fit for me. ... show more

  • Excellent gradient-compression garment--comfortable yet effective, reducing fatigue and swelling in calf area
This is an excellent compression sock for running and all-day wear. It is both durable and comfortable. I have lymphedema in my left leg and so I need to wear a thigh-high medical compression garment all day. I wear the CEP socks over my left compression garment and my "normal" right leg. The results have been very satisfying--more compression to my "bad" left calf area, resulting in the reduction of swelling in that area, and greater circulation in both the left and right legs. The benefits are especially noticeable when I'm running, as the socks reduce that feeling of fatigue n the calf muscles caused by the buildup of lactic acid (I think). And my post-run recovery is definitely faster with the socks remaining on. The socks are so comfortable and barely noticeable that I can wear them all day at work, or just walking around generally or walking with my dog, with the added benefit of increased circulation to that area and reduced fatigue. Just to note that CEP is manufactured by Medi, the same leading (German-based) compression company that makes my medical thigh-high compression garment for my left leg. Their quality is superb and they have been in the business of making gradient-compression (higher at the bottom, lower at the top, to increase circulation of blood to the heart) garments for many years. One suggestion: to extend the life of your socks, you may want to hand-wash them in cold water in the sink using Tru-Kleen liquid soap for compression garments. I have been using this soap for my medical Medi garment and now do the same with these CEP socks. They have lasted quite a while and have maintained their firmness. ... show more

  • Great socks
Size: 5 Color: 3.0 - Black/Dark Grey
Have blood clots in my right leg. These socks were well worth the money I paid. Yes there are cheaper ones on the market but after wearing these I’ll never buy another brand.

  • Comfortable and effective
Size: 3 Color: 3.0 - Black/Dark Grey
I take a blood pressure medication that causes my ankles to swell. Compared to other brands, these are the most comfortable socks I've tried. These socks are effective at reducing swelling. The sizing guide for the sock was accurate for me.

  • Excellent compression socks
Excellent compression socks. I own four pair now. I just returned from a trip and wore them on both flights. They prevented any swelling from occurring in my feet and ankles. They are a little difficult putting on and taking off, but if anyone tells you that compression socks are easy to put on and remove, they're lying! Or else they're not good socks. ... show more
