I really wanted to like this. I was looking for a simple place to clip my handheld radio. The cup holder works until you hit a big bump. This organizer fits the 5th gen 4Runner perfectly. But the problem is on the driver side, by leg hits the cup all the time and is pretty uncomfortable. I wish they made a version with only the cup on the passenger side. Oh well. ... show more

    • Gives an extra little pocket on each side
If there’s one thing that the forerunner lacks it’s places to put things. There is one small vertical slot, and one small horizontal slot in the center console. Otherwise, you looking at the big pockets on the doors. This little organizer gives you a little pocket into which you can put your keys or your phone or anything else you want to have at arms reach but not worry about it sliding onto the floor while you drive. If my phone is not on a magnet up on the dash, it’s usually now in this organizer. I didn’t bother putting the adhesive strip on and I haven’t had an issue over the last few weeks. The organizer does not move even if my phone is in the driver side pocket of the organizer and there’s nothing in the passenger side. There’s no rubber bottom inside the pocket so if you put change or anything small and metal in there, you’re going to hear stuff rattling around. I was worried about the fact that it sticks out about an inch and a half into the drivers leg space area, but it has not bothered me at all. I don’t find that it is annoyingly bumping into my leg. I will say that if you put anything in there that is tall and slim, like a pro max iPhone, it could be annoying that the phone wobbles and hits your leg, but that hasn’t been an issue for me. The plastic itself is rigid, pliable enough that I don’t think it will be easily broken, but not so rigid that it’s brittle, and will crack. I think I’ll get some good, long term use out of it. Overall, I’m definitely happy with this acquisition, and would tell anybody to pick one up and get a little bit of extra storage space for their 4Runner. ... show more

This storage tray is a lot bigger than you’d expect, but it did fit perfectly in my 2019 4Runner and was easy to install. It has adhesive pads to secure it to the sides of the console, but I haven’t needed to use them as it fits quite nicely. I can feel it next to my leg from time to time, but it doesn’t really bother me. It feels a bit like cheap plastic, but once it’s over the console, it looks like it has always been there. It adds just a bit of extra storage for a cell phone or hand sanitizer. While it doesn’t add a ton of extra storage, it helps keep a few small items out of the cup holders. ... show more

I wasn't sure about ordering these console pockets but they've been a great addition to my 4-Runner. As you can see from the photos, the pockets are not that wide and they narrow down at each end to a dimensions where you could only put a thin item. Still, these have been helpful to control clutter that I usually have on my front seat. They do NOT get in the way of my right leg when operating the truck and they fit over the console perfectly!!! I did not use the adhesive strips and I don't think they are needed because the fit is so good!!!! ... show more

This is a nice organizer. It looks like it came built into my 2021 4runner. It appears to be well built and should last the life of my vehicle. It seems to be well adhered to the console with the adhesive strips provided. Would purchase again.
