I bought these recently as I prepared to jump into polymer clay as an art medium. And in that, they're great. For the amount of money I spent, they do what I want them to do: provide a basis for learning to work with polymer clays. The ball tools have real heft to them, and work pretty well at doing what I want them to do. The silicone shaper tools, however, are very flimsy. One of the silicone tools, in fact, tore right at the top, although I haven't had this happen with any of the others thus far. I purchased these to use with polymer clay and I am very pleased with them as well as the price. I work mostly with polymer clay miniatures in a 1:12 scale and I am surprised at just how often I reach for the two largest ball tools. These ball tools work well with push molds such as a terra cotta pot. The small tools can hollow out the pot where my fingers are too large. The large tools help me create professional looking larger pots with little or no fingerprints. The silicone tipped tools are new for me and I love them. They let me work faster when adding details or smoothing seams. They are sturdy tools that will last a very long time and they feel good in the hand while in use.
