I've been wearing this foundation for about a week now and I am really loving the formula and the way this wears throughout a long hot summer day. I do have oily skin but I stopped wearing "matte" foundations because I find that when you start sweating with a matte foundation on, it gets patchy and when I dab the sweat away, it looks like i just wiped off wet paint from my face and it doesn't blend out nicely afterwards. So I wanted to find a more hydrating/glowy foundation for the summers in hopes it'll look more natural as it wears throughout a hot day and this product is amazing. It's hydrating but not really "dewy" which is great because when I wear "dewy" foundations it feels heavy and sticky on my face. This feels so lightweight and comfortable to wear all day. Around 5-6 hours into my day is when my oily skin starts seeping through but when i blot the oils away or even sweat with a tissue, this foundation doesn't budge. It doesn't come off and leave this weird patchy spot. It just looks natural and smooth after blotting. This product paired with their poreless primer is the best combo ever. This is my new go to foundation. I just wish they had a warm or neutral shade that is lighter than the warm vanilla 015. Let's start with my skin type so you'll have a sense if this review will be helpful for you. Even though I am 52, I have a moderately oily t-zone and normal-dry cheeks, mild-moderate redness due to rosacea and moderately textured skin. Wrinkles are quite fine and rather superficial. I use this foundation over a HA serum, moisturizer, and a red color corrector. Longevity: Solid! After10 hours or so, I do see some breakup on my nose and chin but it isn't horrible. Shine: Compared with other matte foundations, I find I have to powder far less than normal. My skin looks matte right after application and takes on a light glow after a few hours. My nose and forehead gleam a bit, but it's nothing compared to others. Oxidation: None! Skin Texture: I'd say I see light to moderate texture with this. It looks a bit heavier in my smile line area and between the eyebrows than a skin tint, but that's to be expected. No creasing, however. Coverage: I apply with a damp beauty sponge. I use about a pump and a half of this over green color corrector and am happy with the solid medium coverage. If I use a brush or my fingers, the coverage level is definitely higher. Overall, this is a foundation I keep coming back to, especially if I know my day will be filled with video calls or I need my makeup to last. ... show more

I have very dry skin and this foundation worked pretty well for the most part. There were a couple of areas that looked a bit dry at the end of the day, but the rest looked good. I applied a very thin layer and got excellent coverage. I also really liked that it is very long lasting and it did not wipe off my face or anything if I accidentally touched it. The only problem is the color. I got one that states it had a neutral undertone (002 neutral); however, it was quite pink and did not blend into my skin very well. My neck and chest definitely did not match the color of my face. Neutral is not supposed to be too pink nor too yellow (nor peach!). ... show more

I LOVE Catrice's HD foundation and was looking for something a little more hydrating/light for lazier days. Unfortunately this foundation was not at all what I expected. It did not feel hydrating. Actually felt kind of drying. The worst part was that it accentuated EVERY fine line and pore and made me look like I had texture that wasn't even there. It lasted 1 hour before becoming oily. Also the shades are not comparable at all between the two lines. The Sand shade (30 I think) was way too light for me. I will stick with the Catrice HD and Missha BB. This foundation is absolutely amazing. The name Truskin doesn't lie - it's so lightweight it feels and looks like skin. The shade I got was a bit lighter than I expected, so I have to add a little bronzer after. It doesn't matter how you apply it (a sponge, a brush, fingertips), the result is pretty much the same: beautiful. I have oily and acne prone skin. I was a bit afraid that after a few minutes later my face would be ultra shiny, but it wasn't. It was actually glowy, looking healthy and moisturized. A little bit goes a long way, so if you prefer more natural coverage, just a few drops will do the job. However, it's totally buildable, and will only look cakey if you go crazy on the setting powder step. There was little to no transfer when I dabbed my face with some tissue, which is great. It lasts pretty much the whole day, unless you're like me and touch your face all the time (which is not the product's fault, right?). I'm 39 years old and most foundations I purchased in the last 2 years ended up creasing or looking patchy throughout the day. This one didn't, and I won't even mention how budget-friendly it is.
