I am half Hispanic with a light complexion (think Aubrey Plaza on her lighter end) and finding the right foundation can be hard - I need to avoid light shades that have pink or orange undertones or things that have the right undertone but are too tan. Catrice does a nice job of having light tones with a yellow and olive undertone that is buildable and doesn't clog my pores. This is the first Catrice product I’ve ever tried and I’m extremely impressed. The packaging is a nice, weighted glass. There is no scent to the serum which is great for me because I hate scented products. I was expecting little coverage but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the coverage was light to medium and buildable. Most importantly, the product itself works so well! I live in a humid climate and my skin is combo/oily. I used a matte primer underneath to avoid it becoming too dewy and I also set it with a pressed powder. I applied it with a damp beauty sponge but went in with a brush on and around my nose to make sure I didn’t miss any spots. I’ve had this on for seven hours as I’m writing this review and it still looks beautiful. I love that it doesn’t feel like I’m wearing anything on my skin. This just became my new fave. ... show more

    • Light, lovely tinted serum I'm glad I found
This is a light and lovely tinted serum foundation. It has buildable coverage but using only a very little smooths out my complexion making it look a little younger and smoother while helping to hide minor blemishes or discolorations. I've started wearing it almost daily even if I never leave the house because my skin really likes this product and I like seeing my skin look better/younger with so little product too. I've knocked one star off because unless you can find this product and try a sample color for yourself, it has taken 3 tries to find the right combination of shades to match my own skin coloring. None of the 3 alone were a good enough match for my skin. Thankfully this isn't expensive so that I could afford to buy 3 different shades to mix making a match for me. It's so light it doesn't feel like I'm wearing anything on my skin and even when I layer it to give me full foundation coverage, it still feels nice and light. This was inexpensive so I didnt mind trying it but there are issues with this product. It is more yellow in the undertone than I like. It is very watery so you have to use very little but then coverage is not that good, not that I like it caked on but its just too light for me. Used many serum makeups and I don't really think this is a serum... It is lightweight and it's a very liquidy and runny, which is a little annoying. I don't mind it if that is an actual serum, because it's worth it. The lightweightness and not settling into lines, however I don't see this as being a serum. It's more like very watery liquid makeup. It did provide good coverage however, but if you're looking for something very light like a serum... this is not it ... show more

I just have to share how amazing this skin tint (010N) is! As someone with mature skin, picking the right foundation can be a bit tricky, but I’ve found my go-to. I love that this skin tint is packed with moisturizing ingredients. The coverage is fantastic, and best of all, it doesn’t look cakey or highlight any fine lines.     • if you have fair neutral olive skin...keep looking
The applicator is awful, the bottle is clunky, and, worst of all, the color is far from neutral. Usually, I can make true neutral colors work with my fair olive skin, but this just won't. Because the coverage is so high, I can't blend it. I think that calling it light to medium coverage is incorrect. It is medium and quickly builds to full. While it oxidizes darker and more orange than it initially goes on, it is still too pale and too orange. Lastly, I have normal to dry skin, and it highlighted every patchy flake. ... show more

I'm not the best with makeup and foundation is such a challenge to match online or otherwise. Thought I would try a serum style to see if I can have some light coverage and still look natural.
