This is the first Catrice product I’ve ever tried and I’m extremely impressed. The packaging is a nice, weighted glass. There is no scent to the serum which is great for me because I hate scented products. I was expecting little coverage but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the coverage was light to medium and buildable. Most importantly, the product itself works so well! I live in a humid climate and my skin is combo/oily. I used a matte primer underneath to avoid it becoming too dewy and I also set it with a pressed powder. I applied it with a damp beauty sponge but went in with a brush on and around my nose to make sure I didn’t miss any spots. I’ve had this on for seven hours as I’m writing this review and it still looks beautiful. I love that it doesn’t feel like I’m wearing anything on my skin. This just became my new fave. ... show more

I HATE MAKEUP!!! Hate it!!!! I love how good makeup makes my complexion look but honestly, unless I’m going to be photographed, it’s just not worth it. I feel it every second it’s on my face and I just have a compulsion to take it off. Granted, this has only been on a couple hours, but it didn’t smell bad like foundation, it didn’t cake and chalk like most foundations on my fingers when I was putting it on, it made my skin feel healthy and hydrated and it made my pores look much less noticeable. The shade I got matched my skin very well and I barely notice I have it on. I actually put a bit more on under my eyes and on my cheeks where my pores are most noticeable and it helped to conceal those problem areas beautifully. I feel like this is a very healthy alternative to foundation and so far I’m really loving the hydrating qualities as well as the pore minimizing qualities. Can’t believe it was $10. I was going to try Typology serum but wanted to give this a go before shelling out $40, so glad I did… this is heaven!!! ... show more

If you look at the first pic you will see the bottle I received and the color I ordered. Whether that sticker was taken from an 030C bottle and put on a lighter color I know not. They just don't match. The color is, of course, way to light. Had the color been what the sticker shows, it would have been a perfect match. I went to the Catrice website to do a color match before my purchase, and 030C what my color. So it's anoyone's guess. I've put a ticket in with Catrice (since you can't call) to find out what is going on. I even sent a copy of the bar code to get the correct answer. So for now I'm at a stand still. The makeup seems great. It has really nice coverage an feels good on the skin. As far as wear time, no clue. It's to light, so I removed it. It's smell's just like the Wet n Wild Photo Focus, so that's what other reviewers are talking about. If that smell bothers you, then avoid this foundation. If not, then give it a try. Great for all skin types as far as I can tell. I'll update this review once I hear back from Catrice. ***EDIT*** I did hear from Catrice and the color is correct that I received. The sticker on the bottle shows the real color after dry down. I will say that after wearing the foundation (which lasted a 10 hour day) the dry down is not as prominent as they think. Yes there is some, but the color on me did not reach the darker strip shade on the bottle. That being said, I'm going with a darker shade #046N and mixing it with the #030C. I should get the desired results. A'' that being said, I Really like this foundation. I think it works for winter but you must use a lot of moisturizer. I have had very good luck with the Catrice concealer and have used it for years and had very high hopes about this Serum Foundation. Upon application it felt wonderful and looked the same. However, as the day wore on it began to separate and become very patchy. Due to this, it began to really settle into some very small lines on either side of my mouth - pretty unsightly. In all fairness, I live in a very hot and humid environment, so that certainly took its toll on the results I had. I'm sure in a more temperate climate, this would be a lovely foundation. Is this magic in a bottle? And only $10??? I just got this in the mail, and I couldn't wait to try it. To be honest I wasn't expecting much. But since I am 58 now it peaked my interest. A serum foundation for only $10? I mean how good can it be? Man was I ever wrong! Number one the color is a perfect match. Number two it covers beautifully! I thought it would be super thin and runny. NOT AT ALL. It is a nice medium consistency. It's also buildable. It makes my skin look so healthy. And that is without primer or anything. (I was in a big rush to try it!) In my humble opinion you should absolutely spend the $10 and get this! I think you will be as surprised as I was! This was inexpensive so I didnt mind trying it but there are issues with this product. It is more yellow in the undertone than I like. It is very watery so you have to use very little but then coverage is not that good, not that I like it caked on but its just too light for me. I found this serum foundation to be just okay. While I appreciate its lightweight feel, which makes it comfortable to wear, it turned out to be too hydrating for my skin. Unfortunately, it made me oily throughout the day. However, it does have buildable coverage and is enriched with hyaluronic acid and vitamin E, which is great for added hydration and skin benefits. However, if you have oily skin or are looking for a more matte finish, this might not be the best option. ... show more
