2nd pair I've had. Comfortable after pulling out the insoles and installing a high-quality set. The last pair lasted around 14 months and I might re-sole them as the uppers are still in good condition. I normally get 3-8 months from a big name work boot that cost more.

Holds up VERY well but the comfort is a different story. Once broken in not the WORST comfort level but it has given me quite a few blisters,calisus,and swelled toes from staying straight to long. But honestly kind of worth the sacrifice of comfort for the durability. Have had them for about 6-7 months now and still holding very well still water proof and everything. ... show more

I've always been a fan of these slip on CAT boots. All they need is a good set of supports put in the heel of the boot and the occasional polish to last you for years on end. I don't know when I'll be buying my next pair of boots, but I know I'll be getting another pair of CATs when I do

Normally for pull-on boots I would buy a size smaller than I wear in other types of shoes or boots. However, I read somewhere in another review to order the same size. So, instead of ordering a size 12, I got size 13 and I am glad I did. They fit perfect, and if I had purchased the smaller size I would have had to return them. The toe box is ample and I haven't felt the edge of the steel toe (in some other boots my little toe would catch the edge of the steel toe and cause pain and bleeding). The leather and the sole seem like they will be very durable. The only thing I changed was that I added insoles. The insoles in the boots were very thin and had no arch support, but I suppose that allows us to each choose an insole that is right for each of us. I have worn some boots that had too high an arch and others that were too low. Others have said there was a break-in period, during which they had some pain around their ankles, but I didn't experience that. It might be because I wear two pairs of socks any time I wear boots (a thin, synthetic dress-style sock under a thick, wool-blend boot sock). This helps to keep my feet dry and prevent blisters. I don't know if it works for everybody, but it has saved some wear and tear on my feet. ... show more
