I am so much more in love with this blanket than I thought I would be. This thing is just incredible. I got it for the extra curricular use with hubby. You guys know what I mean. Got tired of washing all the towels and the bedding because it gets pretty messy, but now I don’t even have to worry. And what are used to be big puddles.. Are now small ones that do not spread. A little secret too. If you take a small towel and blot it. The blanket dries almost immediately and I mean really dry, comfy and warm. It’s quite comfortable to lay on. Pets it retains very little or no smell. And it keeps the mess so localized barely had to use any towels. Hell I could’ve even moved the blanket around and avoided the area altogether till I decided to machine wash it. None of it got through my bed is completely clean and dry. I have so little cleanup and it kept me warm and dry all night long. I am really impressed. I’m honestly thinking of who I can give one of these too as a gift. I honestly could think of so many multi-purpose situations. This would be useful the bedroom, the car with small children, the boat, camping, dogs and cats. Some people put them Under their rabbit cages. It’s a great idea. I really wish I could envelop my kitchen floor in one of these for every time our old dog pees on the floor. This blanket was mind blowing!!! It is very soft and comfortable. This was bought for adult activities and let me tell you, It works!!! I honestly did not think it would actually keep everything dry. Not one drop escaped from the blanket. It’s like a comforting blanket that allows you to relax, release and enjoy pleasure without worrying about the clean-up afterward or being embarrassed! It seems to wash well and being as I am not waiting days for it to air dry we have dried it several times. The wooby is still intact and still waterproofing daily. Read all the reviews before purchasing and have to agree - washing this is a PITA. Currently waiting on its second spin cycle to hopefully get all the water out. That said - it definitely gets full marks for “liquid resistance” IYKYK. I was shocked how well it protected my bed. The plush side is super cozy and as mentioned the other side is maybe not quite so cozy, but I wouldn’t hesitate to curl up with this in a pinch. We bought this for our bed so our elderly dog could sleep with us and we wouldn't have to worry about our blankets and comforter being ruined if she had any accidents. As she reached the end of her life there were a few accidents, and this blanket, which was warm and comfy, kept the bed clean and stain-free. It was easy to pop into the washer, and cleaned up perfectly. As long as you know that it takes a while to dry in the the dryer because it would hold more water from the washing machine than a normal blanket would. Since it was big I would take it out of the dryer every 10-15 minutes and shift it around so it would dry completely in the fastest possible way. This blanket gave us stress-free peace and comfort, and let our dog stay with us, close-by and comfortable, and we never had to worry if she slept on the bed during the day.
