    • Strong Adhesion (Not Magnetic FYI)
I very rarely write reviews, but this product deserves the recognition. I almost never buy products with less than 1000 reviews but I'm glad I took a chance on this one. I work for Instacart as an in-store shopper, which means that I'm constantly running around the grocery store with my phone out, mostly holding my phone in one hand while getting items, but sometimes holding my phone solely by the ring if I have my hands full. I just recently hit 1000 hours at work just to give a sense of how much use my phone gets. After the first day at work I decided to add a ring holder to my phone and used one that my sister gave me as a gift. That cheap ring got loose after a few days and snapped off altogether after a week. I bought these and added one to my phone and loved it immediately. It has been super sturdy and has met all of my needs. I did end up having to switch phones and phone cases a couple months ago, so I can't really say how long it lasts past around 6 months, but I can say that it does last at least 500 hours of strenuous use on top of regular daily use. I did notice it lifting a little on the edge a few weeks ago, but after applying pressure for a bit it seemed to be fixed. That lifting could very well be due to the fact that the outer part of my case is flexible rather than hard. PROS -strong hold adhesive -cute design -3 pack (great if you have to switch phone or need to extend the life) -360 spin, no hard stops -U-shaped ring is much more comfortable than the O-shape -ring can go back to about 100 degrees, which provides a hard stop for propping up but also allows 180 degrees when you factor in the spin -flat design (no annoying bumps in your pocket and lies flatter) -has survived many (accidental) drop tests CONS -not magnetic (This was not an issue for me, but may be for others. The silver part is metal, just not magnetic itself.) ... show more

    • My favorite phone ring holder
I've bought this exact ring three times now over the years: The first time was all about the cute. The last two times were because this thing actually works perfectly. Sturdiness: The ring starts out stiff, but loosens up a little as you break it in. But it never loosens up so much that it spins or flops down freely. I will warn you not to drop it accidentally on a hard surface while the ring is extended or it can warp the shape so it doesn't nest right. (But that's why you get the 3-pack)! Adhesion: My phone cases have all been textured and the adhesive has never failed. I was worried about this, but even on matte cases with grooved textured, it's golden. I've held my brand new $1500 phones by the ring alone while leaning over the ferry to take pics of a whale and while starting down over cliffs while hiking without ever worrying. Magnetic: Most of my phones have easily locked on tightly to the magnetic dock in my car every time -- and that's freaking awesome when you're getting in the car with 18 things in your hands. With my new phone, I will say it's a bit less grippy, but I suspect that may be due to the magnet in the dock itself or the fact that my phone is freaking enormous. Never had a problem previously. Style: okay, yes, it's super cute. But also it doesn't have obnoxious lettering or branding on it so my phone looks clean, with a subtle style enhancement -- exactly the way I want it to. People assume my case and the ring are all in one, rather than some gaudy bedazzled add-on. I highly recommend this brand, even if you choose a different base style.     • A nice firm kickstand with an adorable "kitty"
I used a similar ring kickstand for the phone I had before this one. One of the things I loved about it was that it was nice and sturdy; I've heard of other ring kickstands that went wobbly over time; I never had that problem. When I went to re-order, I discovered that it was no longer available on Amazon. However, this stand was suggested as an alternative, and I'm glad I ordered it. It has a similar construction to my old ring kickstand, which reassures me that it will continue to be as sturdy as it now. (I've used it for a few weeks and am very pleased.)
