the unit is absolutely fabulous!! i have some as singles and some stacked. (2 different company purchases for price point savings.) it arrived in perfect condition. don't forget the hardware bag in the boxes. easily overlooked. just dust it off and fold down the shelves and you are done (but see gooey sticker info following). they look amazing. they stack easily. the reason for only four stars- i got a few of these from another company but they did not have this size. so this one from amazon. whatever they use for the stickers from the other place i ordered came off the shelf wonderfully. no residue. the unit from amazon- it took me over a half hour using goo-gone. i swear they were put on with the same agent as the shoes stickers from ross. you know what i mean. but ross shoes are discounted greatly. this is why i happened to have the goo-gone at all. i soaked the stickers. carefully scraped with my fingernail. soaked more. scraped more. eventually got it off and the nasty glue residue. now many careful washings of area with dawn dish soap to get the oily goo-gone residue off. over a half hour all together. ugh. but i love the unit and it is the perfect size for the space i needed so... it is solid and sturdy. no time for pics but these are the perfect solution for quick organization. i created a pseudo pantry as my apt is low on storage. i have a linen look curtain hanging from a tension rod to cover the front. (said pantry is in my living room too since it is one big room with open kitchen.) ... show more

Love the ease of assembly. I bought two to stack in a narrow space, and they fit perfectly. I am concerned that they seem even more "wobbly" than the larger width shelves I bought from the same company ... but maybe that is to be expected?

Solid bookcase EXCEPT I ordered it in white, which arrived with very noticeable & unattractive black knobs on the top. They appear white in the web picture, the color they should be - but aren't. I'll try painting the knobs white, but they should have been made the same color as the bookcase.
