  • Happy
I have purchased this watch on 3 separate occasions. I work in a trade that's tough on my hands - watch. At this price point, I can comfortably afford to replace it as needed. The quality is good, the face is adequate and the band is pretty decent. I do sweat while working and the band simply glues itself to my skin. I find that I slide it around for better comfort. The lens is not very scratch resistant but I don't mind this. One more thing, the slider catch on the side opposite of the primary strap has broken on one of these watches. Don't let my critique scare you away. I will buy this watch again when I need to. ... show more

  • Perfect
Streamlined design, Doesn't easily catch on things. Looks good on my pathetic old wrist. Last one I had lasted well over 10 years!

  • I'm still getting used to it...good chance I'll keep it
UPDATE: Well I woke up yesterday and went to look at the watch to see what time it was and....where was my watch? Found it under the pillow. The band was broken in half! When I examined the band much closer, I found that the rubber had started to crank in many areas on the inside. I figured my skin oils attacked the rubber and started the cracks. In any case, I went back to the old Timex which was still ticking along. I'm not very happy that I got suckered into buying a watch with a resin band only to find the reason I swore off of them many years ago. I had hoped that Casio's rubber chemistry had improved to the point that it would match the supposed 10 year battery life. No such luck...and there's no way I am going to waste money on a new band. Even so, my expectations for a <$20 watch really shouldn't have been that high. I'm going back to a metal band watch. ***************************************************************************** I've been using a digital Timex Ironman for a few years, it has worked fine...except that I decided that I really wanted to go back to an analog style for quick glance reading and general visibility. This watch meets that goal nicely. The way I wear these watches is to basically leave them on all the time...in the shower...sleep in them...they stay on my arm. From my experience, taking these plastic band type of watches on and off is hard on the band...when I leave them on, the bands last longer. When something goes wrong with these cheap watches, I usually get another...with the 10 year battery, that won't be for a while. I'm not expecting 10 years, but 5 years would be good...probably want something new by then anyway. So far the watch seems to be keeping very good time...it is within a few seconds of NIST after about a week so that is plenty good. OK...the only thing I'm not totally satisfied with. The little band retainer loop that holds the end of the band down keeps sliding up and down the band. My old Timex has a very nice little raised area on the band that kept it from sliding off the end of the band...it totally eliminated this problem...not sure why Casio couldn't do something similar...especially considering how many millions of these things they must sell and considering how innovative they usually are. It seems that I am pushing that little retainer back on a few times a day...no big deal but certainly not optimum. I think I might get some good solvent adhesive and bond it down in the spot I want it to be located. ... show more

  • Simple, clean and understated.
Being a Boomer, I always buy watches that are analog. This Casio is perfect for its simplicity. Analog, second hand, date. I am now a complete person, in balance with nature. This watch has a smaller diameter than most of the watches I own, so it seemed a little too small at first….but I am starting to really love the look. Yeah, very cool. ... show more

  • A cheap but reliable watch
This is the 2nd Casio plastic watch that I bought. The first one lasted for 15 years. A cheap but reliable watch. Good for the price.

  • Small diameter watch case
This watch has a medium diameter watch face. I estimate 40mm, so do not expect a large watch. The watch band appears to be resin and not plastic. This makes the watch band stiff and may be uncomfortable for some people. The luminescence is not very bright making telling time in the dark difficult. The watch battery is rated for 10 years. Overall this watch is worth the low price and I would recommend it to others as long as you are aware of the issues mentioned above. ... show more
