Description

CasioWith the launch of its first watch in November 1974, Casio entered the wristwatch market at a time when the watch industry had just discovered digital technology. As a company with cutting-edge electronic technology developed for pocket calculators, Casio entered this field confident that it could develop timepieces that would lead the market.Today, Casio is focusing its efforts on solar-powered radio-controlled watches: the built-in solar battery eliminates the nuisance of replacing batteries, atomic timekeeping means the users never have to reset the time. Recently, Casio launched a series of Bluetooth watches that sync to the users cell phone to automatically update the time. Casio is always moving time forward. If you're searching for great value in a classic diver-look watch, look no further than the MRW210 from Casio. Its 53.1mm face with large Arabic numerals provide at-a-glance information. Couple this with a bi-directional rotating bezel and 100 meter water resistance and you've got a timepiece that's easy-to-read, simple-to-use and durable. Black/Gold Resin

  • Large Face...
I bought this to wear at the gym. I needed a second hand , one that was large enough to see close. My eyes aren't what they used to be so having this watch has been great!

  • CHEAP, FUNCTIONAL, EASY TO READ.
First the UGLY/BAD, the watch I received in the Original OEM Box sold by Amazon has a PLASTIC / Acrylic Dial Cover. It says MINERAL in the Description at the time of writing this review....but it in no way is it a Mineral Crystal. First day wearing it out of the house to go shopping it got a VERY NOTICEABLE "Smudge" that would not wipe or wash off and 3x Scratches on the lens. I used a bit of Glass Top Stove polish on my finger and a bit of water to remove them in just a few seconds. (Tooth Paste would do the job as well.) Acrylic is OK at this price point. I just thought I would let potential future buyers know it is NOT a Mineral Crystal Dial Cover as stated in the Description. The GOOD.....PRICE.....for the price of this watch you cannot go wrong. I've had it for two weeks now and it has only lost 1 Second of Time compared to my Computer Time that I set it by. It is OK to swim in and have on in the Rain. It is VERY easy to see and read when there is light around. It reflects even low light well and has good contrast. (I have the Black and White one.) The Hour and Minute hand do have LUME on them, but of course it only lasts for a few minutes when out of the light. This is NOT Super Luminova C-1 or C-3. LOL I bought this watch to wear when I work on the Car or Outside around the House so that if anything happens to it not a big $$$ loss. I also took off the Plastic Watch band that came with it and put a "The Band" Velcro Watch band on it. Love this type of Watch band for my watches that I wear to the Golf Course or Fishing. It is MUCH better than the Velcro that you have to feed through a Plastic or Metal Oval and NATO style bands. These things STAY on, you can micro adjust easily if your wrist swells in Heat or shrinks in Cold, and can come off FAST if needed to. I can also take it off and Wrap it around the Golf Cart Roof Brace to see the time on the course. $9 and $10 respectively for the The Band watch bands here on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Chums-Band-20mm-Wide-Watch/dp/B001AQON3S/ref=sr_1_4?crid=3IGEMHNFYSPLP&dchild=1&keywords=the+band+watch+band+velcro&qid=1616612251&sprefix=the+band+watch+band%2Caps%2C191&sr=8-4 and the normal size band https://www.amazon.com/Chums-Band-20mm-Watch/dp/B001AQTKEA/ref=sr_1_3?crid=3IGEMHNFYSPLP&dchild=1&keywords=the+band+watch+band+velcro&qid=1616612251&sprefix=the+band+watch+band%2Caps%2C191&sr=8-3 I would recommend this watch to anyone wanting a decent low cost Analog Watch. ... show more

  • It's mostly average
This watch is very average. But has some huge weaknesses. I got this on sale (thankfully) to use it on days when I work outside or am doing lots of exercise. I'm a bigger guy but a 40mm Invicta pro diver is my main watch and it fits well even if a bit on the small side. This thing is HUGE. It's probably too big even for me. It's easy to read, but only in the day. Despite its massive size it weighs next to nothing. It's probably a cheap quartz movement inside and it seems to lose time at the same rate as my automatic watches do, so none of the pros of most quartz watches and none of the pros of an automatic. Only the hour and minute hand have lume, none on the dial at all. And the lume on the hands is barely visible. People complain about the lume on Invicta watches and even that puts this watch to shame. It is useless at night. I do like the day/date function but the day function switches language occasionally (it has both English and Spanish) I know this is so it can be sold to more countries, but it would make more sense to only use the date, because then the language doesn't matter. The glass is not glass, it is acrylic. This means it's shock resistant, but will scratch very easily. It's somewhat protected by the rotating bezel (which rotates either way, but has no click and feels kind of like a poor friction fit) Other issues are that I doubt you could find a different strap for it given the strange design, replacement of the battery would likely ruin the water resistance, and the second hand never hits the markers of the dial. For the $20 I paid it's a reasonable deal, it seems like it is mostly water tight, as I've worn it on the rain and the shower now. And it is probably somewhat shock resistant being made of resin and having a quartz movement. But for the price I paid it's still not up to the standard I would want, and certainly not for the $35 MSRP. If you would have to pay any more than $20 I'd recommend a Timex, you will get a better watch, and it will actually be useful at night. I'll wear this for my intended purpose, but as soon as its battery dies or the strap wears out it will likely end up in a drawer and be forever forgotten, which is likely for the better given how it is basically the most forgettable watch I've ever owned. ... show more

  • Big watch for big wrists.
The MRW 210H is a wrist monster. I knew it was big but this is a little more than expected. Fortunately, I have a nearly 8" wrist, so I can pull it off. (It looks bigger on me in the pic than in person.) I'm really liking it so far, but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone with small to average size wrists. I just received this today so I can't speak to the accuracy, but it's a Casio, so I'm sure it's good. The all resin case and band, make for a super lightweight comfortable watch. The strap is much more supple than is usual for Casio. I usually end up replacing their stock straps, but on this model it will work fine for me. If I have one small complaint, it's that the bi-directional bezel rotates too easily. Going about my day, I've had to realign it a few times. At this price point, it's very unlikely that you'll get a 120 (or even 60) click bezel, but it would be nice if there was a little more friction. This is a minor issue however, the fact that a watch this inexpensive even has a rotating bezel is surprising. ... show more

  • Great Watch, but No Glow
It’s a great watch if you need an analog watch. If you’re a nursing student in a program that requires the second hand then this is it. However, please note that it doesn’t have a light button and the hand don’t glow in the dark. I had purchased it for my nursing program and my EMT job the lack of a light button is a significant downside for me. Perfect if you’re going to be a well lit clinic or simulation lab. ... show more
