  • Looks great and feels great
Color: Black/Green
(7.25" wrist for photo reference) Just got the watch today, but I have to say, it looks even better in person than the photos online. I'm really happy I got the green. I debated heavily between this and the blue one, even thought I might have made a mistake after placing the order. But now that I've seen it in person, I have zero regrets. The green and black looks so good, and the little touch of red on the seconds hand is perfect. It's classy and sophisticated, not too bold, but when the light hits just right, it comes alive and becomes quite the eye catcher. I was also very surprised by how good this watch feels to wear. It's a big boy at 46.3mm case diameter, and 49.5 lug to lug, but I have a large wrist so I wasn't worried about it. However, it's much thinner and lower profile than I expected at only 12mm. It weighs 93 grams so it's got some nice heft to it, but I feel like it has a low center of gravity and hugs my wrist really well. Just very pleasantly surprised by how well this watch wears on my wrist. By comparison, my daily is a G-Shock GA-2100 "CasiOak", which is much lighter and technically smaller at 45.4mm case diameter, 48.5 lug to lug, and 11.8mm thick. But I swear this Casio MDV-106 "Duro" feels better on my wrist. However, I think most of that is due to the stock resin strap/mounting system on the Casioak, which isn't as comfortable as this one. I'm thinking I'll replace the strap on the Duro, and put the Duro strap on my Casioak. Anyway, very happy with this watch. Can't think many better ways to spend $50. ... show more

  • There’s nothing cheap about this watch
Color: Black/Green
I cannot believe the build quality of this Casio watch. For less than $50 bucks you not only get a solid stainless steel body but it features an actual screw down crown that’s unheard of at this price point anywhere. The time is very accurate and the green bezel looks like a Rolex from a few feet away. It’s strap is extra long for 8 to 9 inch wrists which is very rare these days. My only nitpick is the date is hard to see but that’s nothing. All in all this is a watch I’m proud to wear every day of the week! I’ve had Swiss watches in the past that weren’t built as well as this beautifully designed timepiece. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Gets most of my wrist time lately. Insane value
Color: Black/Blue
This watch is legendary on youtube and elsewhere for its incredible value. I ended up swapping out the rubber/silicone band for a bracelet and it really added to the appeal for me. I have gotten many compliments on the watch, it keeps accurate time, and it's cheap enough that I don't have to worry about wearing it daily. The only gripe is the original band - really lessens the look of the watch. That said, there are tons of options out there for straps (22mm). I have enjoyed putting this on leather and nato straps, but I adore it on the bracelet pictured. Another benefit of this watch is the dedicated modding community. There are resources out there to show you how to upgrade the crystal to sapphire, fill it with oil, swap bezels, and on and on. Outside of the Casio World Time AE-1200, I don't think there is a better value out there for an amazing watch! You won't regret it. ... show more

  • Best for your buck !
Color: Black/Blue
After debating on high end dive watches and a lot of research I decided on the Duro , it is very true what is said ,you get a whole lot of watch for the money . Pictures do not do it justice at all it is much better looking in person and very well made . I can not believe this watch sells for just south of 60 bucks ! I would have paid more for this without hesitation. I ordered a metal band and a sapphire crystal for it to upgrade and still under 100 bucks , you really can’t beat it . If you are thinking about it like I was just do it and you will not regret it . ... show more

  • No Better Bank for the Buck, Period.
Color: Black/Blue
Note: While I am an Amazon Vine Reviewer, I purchased this watch with my own money and offer this review without any form of remuneration. I ordered, received, and am reviewing the black/blue bezel model. For fifty bucks, you'd be crazy to expect sapphire, a ceramic bezel, and steel bracelet. Even so, you really can't go wrong with the Casio Duro. Unlike most watches at this price point that tout themselves as waterproof, the Casio Duro is rated to 200 meters and has a screw-down crown, which means it will most likely survive a shower or a day at the beach or pool. It's also a great looking watch, equally suited for business or casual wear, and even has cred among the horological elite as a respectable timepiece. Case is polished stainless steel, so it is more prone to show scratches than a brushed case. I fully expected a fixed or no-click friction bezel at this price point, but the 120-click aluminum (as stated on Casio's product page for model MDV106-1A) bezel punches well above its weight. Despite its may virtues, the Duro does have a few weak points, in my opinion: * Date complication is extremely small. Maybe not the best option for tired old eyes like mine. * Lume is adequate, but nothing to write home about. Don't expect it to win any 'lume wars.' * Included plastic strap is horrible, even for Casio. Fortunately, this can be remedied. As you can see from my photos, simply changing the strap gives the Duro the look of a watch four times its modest price. It's perfect for your daily driver, beater, or (with a better strap or bracelet) a respectable office or dress watch. It looks great, feels great on wrist, and it will keep better time than any mechanical. When you don't want to risk losing or destroying your grail or smartwatch but still need the time on your wrist, the Duro is the perfect alternative. ... show more

  • Classic diver (extremely high quality for value)
Color: Black/Green
This is the perfect example of a budget watch that doesn't feel like a budget watch. the only thing I will do to make this watch feel better is replace the strap with a NATO strap, this factory strap is kind of cheap and basic. everything else is very nice.

  • Best diver watch you can get for the money.
Color: Black/Red
I purchased this watch as I wanted a good water resistant watch when I did things in wet conditions. OK, this watch is over kill, but in general it is a good comfortable, and stylish watch and I will wear it in my weekly rotation. Strap is nice and the watch sits on my wrist very well. Casio just make great watches, and this is not exception. Sometime is life, the "you get what you pay for" does not apply. This is the exception to the rule. You get a lot for your money here. ... show more
