Picked up the GA-2100 "Casioak" after seeing a bunch of solid reviews. It is nothing short of an amazing value. Combining classic Gshock toughness with modern style in a rugged but stylish ana-digi design, it is versatile, gets compliments, has all of the complications one needs. Perfect daily sport watch . Only wish it had tough solar, but they just announced a model with it . I'll get a Royal Oak modkit for this one then and replace it. Either way- get this watch. This is an excellent G-Shock! Comfortable to wear and stylish to look at. I wanted a non digital display g-shock and this fitted the bill for looks and price. I was looking for a simple watch that was easy to read, simple to use, and durable (I didn’t want any Bluetooth or phone connectivity). This is a great watch and if I had the choice I would buy it again. I love the look of it with the grey markers and negative digital display. The pros: - simple to use - easy to read in most lighting conditions - great backlight - looks great - has quick release watch straps so the band can be changed fairly easily - good price/value for money - not as bulky as many other GShock watches The Cons: - the mineral glass scratches way too easy. This is my biggest gripe so I have to expound on this a bit. I’ve owned this watch a little over a week and haven’t done anything out of the ordinary while wearing it or storing it. After washing my car I noticed a scratch in the glass that goes nearly across the whole glass (you can see the scratch in one or more of the photos). No idea where the scratch came from, I’m really surprised that the mineral glass is this soft. - the band it comes with is not the most comfortable As is, I would still buy this watch again or recommend it to a friend. Just be aware before buying: consider a screen protector if you don’t like a scratched watch glass. ... show more

Slim design, surprisingly comfortable "plastic" band, quick disconnect being a Casio is screwed in for security, no adapters needed to swap out band for something else. (Hardware to swap band not included in stock box) weakest link is the mineral glass, but screen protectors are readily available for this model. Only other irritance is the 4 o'clock time/date/stopwatch/timer/world time window is obsyructed - unsure if there is a function to temporarily move the hands. Wanted a G shock and I prefer analog displays so this was a no brainer. Love this watch however if you’re going to use the chronograph and timer and other features, be aware the digital display is difficult to read because it’s so small. I honestly don’t use those features but it’s cool it has them. It’s a G shock. Can’t really complain about that. ... show more
