These arrived from the vendor tape sealed in a sturdy branded cardboard box. These are similar to other lifting spacer pads I’ve gotten in the past, except these are very firm & have very little “give”. I think the biggest problem is how do you get them under a heavy washer, in our case actually as a stacked washer and dryer? I used little hand vise type lifters, and only needed to put one near the front washer leg. When the lifter was squeezed 5-6 times, the whole tower of appliances was just high enough to get both spacer/vibration pads on that side, then lower the lifter, then repeat on the other side. It took about 5 minutes to jack up and put the spacers under the legs. They fit well and I really like how they give you some space under the bottom to be able to vacuum under to get to the dirt that always likes to hide under there. I didn’t have a lot of laundry to run a heavy load, but did have enough for a modest load of same colors. These pads kept the two appliances from vibrating and shaking as much as before; if it works for a modest load it should really make a difference when doing heavy loads. I like the concept of these devices, and they aren’t difficult to install nor are they expensive. Getting access to clean is a great benefit, and less wobbling around to reduce stress on attached vent pipes & plumbing connections is always a good idea. ... show more

I have a front loader washing machine, and the door is just a little low to open when my laundry basket is in front, which means when I do open, the clean clothes may fall on the ground...super annoying. Having this extra couple of inches means the door opens over the empty laundry basket, so it is a perfect solution, and much cheaper than the alternative storage drawer that you can buy to go with this. My washing machine is large and heavy, but after 3 weeks, I still haven't noticed any sign of these collapsing, so I'm optimistic they are a good solution. As far as anti-vibration, I can't really say if they are effective or not. My washing machine is on a concrete slab, so vibration isn't really a problem for me. ... show more

    • Great Product for Rattling Dryer

No matter what I did, my dryer would have a constant rattle when it was turned on. I decided to give this product a try and sure enough, as soon as the pads were installed, the rattling stopped. I do like this product, but installation can be a real pain. The pads are very tall, so if you have limited space in your washer/dryer closet, you may not have enough clearance to lean the dryer forward and backwards. The good thing about this product, is the rubber on the bottom of it doesn't permanently lock it in place. What I mean by that is, when they are installed, you can move the dryer with a reasonable amount of force. The one nice thing about the pads raising the dryer up as much as it does, you can actually get a small brush under the dryer and clean out underneath it. The other thing I like about this pertains to washers. You can place a pan underneath the washer with these installed in the event the tub leaks at any time. Overall, I am really enjoying this product and they have become a permanent fixture for my dryer. I recommend giving this product a try. ... show more

Used these for my air brush compressor as I live above my neighbors and I was worried it might be making too much noise for them. These fit perfectly on the feet of the compressor and have reduced the vibration and sound significantly. We live in a really old house. The floors aren't level. The room where the washing machine is located is also not perfectly level. Although I did level the washing machine out prior to running it, it tends to move out of place often. Because of this, it would go out of level and start chattering badly. We could feel it and hear it from two rooms over. I ordered these pads to see if we could cut down on that, and they did. These come in a pack of four with two parts to each pad. There is a rubber pad and then a structural part that the machine is supported on top of that get sandwiched together. Setup was a two person job because the machine has to be lifted and then the feet need to be centered directly mid pad or they don't sit flush on the pad. After installing all four of these and leveling the machine again, I could see that the pads were supporting the weight just fine. There is a little flex, but not too much. The rubber pads underneath are not extremely grippy, but provide more contact area to the ground than the washing machine's stock feet. So far, these have done a great job of lessening the movement of the washing machine. There is very noticeable decrease in felt and heard vibrations, regardless of the machine being level, especially for bigger laundry loads. Because of this, the machine doesn't slip out of level. My main concern is that these aren't solid and might fracture/split on an unsupported area on the pad. For the short time I've been using them, they seem to be holding up alright, but I'll update if there are any changes. For the quality-of-life improvement, these are a great value. They did not compress hardly at all and they even bring up the height of the washing machine door so as not to have to bend over as far. We really like these vibration pads.
