    • Beautiful, well made, non-intrusive looking but spendy
I suppose it’s a sign when my 13 year old fashionista daughter is stunned and emphatically approves. I don’t care about that, I like the minimalist look and the purple blue hue looks fantastic on a black iPhone. Fits like a dream. The clear bluish frame around the phone screen seems to emphasize the phone, not add weight or visual bulk to it were the case a black color. I wasn’t sure about the boxy design, but I like it so far. Very clean, different look. The corner edges are rounded slightly so they’re not sharp. However, I expect if you stash your phone in your back jeans pocket like I frequently do, they will abrade the fabric quickly. Truth is though, no case I’ve had ever didn’t do that over time. Any fabric won’t be as tough as plastic or silicone 🤷🏻♂️, unless you wear Kevlar jeans maybe? Case is normally $40. That’s higher than I think it’s worth, but everything’s expensive and everyone determines value differently. I’m thrilled with it: the look, the feel, the camera and screen protection.     • It’s mostly blue and purple, (on the DARK purple iPhone pro max 14 ) it’s shiny and gorgeous!!
You can’t really see how pretty it is, but it goes between the shades of purple lilac and blue, slight bluish green, but mostly purple and blue. The magnet inside is very strong. I was able to charge it on a magnetic charger. Also I was able to put a magnet Pop socket on the back and it holds really well. I chose the translucent blue color for that and it’s a nice complement. Also, I can’t speak to the lip around the camera lenses because I have individual pop on camera covers for each of my lenses on the iPhone pro max , the ones that I got are iridescent blue purple with a little bit of orange bronze color so they complement this case very well as well , I’d recommend this and I’m picky. Also I really like the block clear edges someone might think oh no they’re clear plastic they will turn to yellow actually though if you hold them up, it’s not yellowing plastic hold it down with the light and you’ll see it’s the color from the back of the case shining through you’ll see a holographic sheen on each of the corners in around the sides. It’s clear so it could also be reflecting my purple phone, but it seems mostly to me to be a match between the two colors. It’s actually quite pretty, but if you’re inside, and you hold the plastic up to the light where it’s backlit from the top down, you might mistake the corners for yellowing plastic. It’s not that at all. Trust me keep the phone in your hand and move your hand around and you’ll see the color coming through the back and illuminate the clear corners. It’s actually quite nice. I haven’t had the occasion to drop it thank Goodness but. I suspect the corners being significant as they are. They’re like a semi-hard, but also at the same time cushy kinda of rubber like plastic, not the hard kind that would break or crack. Again I’m picky and I like this. The only issue that I have is the branding on the bottom where it says casemate and that lettering is underneath inside the plastic case so there’s no way to try and peel it off although I wouldn’t recommend that anyways, cause you could damage the pretty iridescence so 🤷♀️ To me, it’s worth it I love this case ... show more

I got this on Christmas morning. That afternoon my phone fell out of my pocket and back glass shattered. So 10 ft fall protection is a lie. After picking up my repaired phone from Apple, the side volume buttons broke off as I was putting the case back on. So I started a warranty claim with casemate. They offered no remorse about my glass breaking and didn’t respond at all about the 10 ft fall protection claim. They offered me 6 options for replacements (and referred to that as ‘a wide variety’) and none of them are the case I had. They said it wasn’t In stock. I replied that it’s still in stock on Amazon with them as the seller. They stated they have no access to those and offered me a couple more replacement options. I ordered this case on Amazon with casemate as the seller, but somehow they can’t replace it with the same case from Amazon? Give me a break people. So don’t pay the inflated price for a name brand phone case with a warranty and a fall protection claim. It’s all a lie. ... show more

Very sturdy & protective for the phone. However, it doesn’t look like the exact picture. The picture displays that it’s silver but in-person it’s white. I will be sending back. However, I love Case mate brand & had their cases the past & this company has never failed me.
