This tree looks great. It was a little bigger than I expected but worth the money. The only reason I give it 4 stars is I didn’t realize I would have to put all the lights in. Kind of going to be a hassle to have to put them in every year.

First off, package arrive intact and no damage. Now here is what is bothersome. You do have to insert a little plastic tube on the end of each “light bulb”. They are not actually light bulbs just fake ones. Then you insert these into the holes of the tree. You can arrange however you like. These do not stay in, very loose fitting. Which means every time you set up or store for following year, you need to remove each “bulb” and do it again. The plug fits into bottom of the tree, so if that actual light goes out…(which makes the fake bulbs shine) you’re pretty much done. Also, the fake snow is not actually paint, it’s the faux snow that needs to be brushed off or use a blower to get all the loose stuff off before getting it everywhere. This could be fun for the kids to help with inserting all the fake bulbs, however because they come out so easily, you need to be very careful little ones cannot grab one and choke on it. Overall, the size is great, it is pretty and perfect for those that cannot do a real/fake tree. You do have a choice on star color and colors of the “bulb”. ... show more

I thought this in September and made the mistake of awaiting for Nov to open it fully. Not only is it missing the major part that would illuminate it, the “snow” is shards of glass that flake off. Me, my 3 year old felt itchy on our hands and arms and throats as we tried to begin the set up. It is tedious in adding plastic to the bases of the “bulbs” to randomly guess where they might fit. We got about 10 minutes in, maybe 1/3 of the set up and chose to bag it up and Throw it away for the fact or is UNSAFE. The snow glass is hazardous absolutely. I wish I was in the return window but have no intention of trying to box this up and ship it back. All of these should be removed for safety concerns. The directions themselves say they shouldn’t be left lit unattended which means IF it actually had all the part to electrical function, it shouldn’t be trusted not to burn your house down. Don’t buy this. Update** An hour or so after this, I have glass in my eye. And my throat is literally bleeding from glass shards!! I have contacted Amazon support as I believe this product to be truly hazardous. It will be interesting to see what my eye doctors reveals. Pulling the product out of the trash to hold as evidence.
