Absolutely fabulous chair for comfort and size if you're fairly petite or narrowly built. Shipping and delivery was horrendous... the chair came in the saddest-looking, beat-to-hell box I've ever seen, but it was wrapped in heavy plastic, so it didn't get dirty from what we could see at the time of delivery (we WAITED for this puppy). It remained in it's sad box, in the same spot, for about 3.5 months when my little one was born, due to dusty home improvements (read: nesting on overdrive). When we opened it we loved it; sat in it and loved it; got out of it, and realized we had been sitting unevenly. It made this metal griding shriek when my husband stood up. We turned it around and the back brace had been snapped in half during transit, causing the left and right sides to sit a solid 3 inches difference in height. We have never been able to get rid of the noise, and aren't in a position to pay even more to have it repaired, but it is so comfortable when you get used to your left and right sides sitting at different altitudes. In all honesty, we'd love to have another if we could pick up straight from the manufacturer to avoid the damage and wait. Just a shame. ... show more

Ugh, this glider is even better than I thought it would be. The pictures and water-resistant description of the fabric made it seem it would be rough and utilitarian but it's remarkably soft. The ottoman is the perfect height and I like that it's stationary and not rocking so I can get some stability while nursing and leverage for rocking. I'd overlooked the lumbar pillow and let me tell you that might be my favorite part of the set. Also, I thought I'd miss a reclining feature but really it's probably better that it's not an option so I don't fall asleep with baby! One thing that might be a downer for some is that I'm 5'3" and about 130 lbs and I feel like the width of the seat and height of the back is perfect for me (just enough wiggle room). If I were much taller or wider I'm not sure I'd be very comfortable in this chair. ... show more

Very comfortable and small footprint. Very hard to use a boppy nursing pillow on this chair unless you put a large narrow pillow behind you. I retrospectively wish I got one that was a bit wider and could recline but still think it’s a beautiful and comfortable glider.

LOVE this chair for our nursery. It fits nicely in a corner. The arms are the perfect height for nursing, and there’s a nice high back. I’m 5’7” and my husband is 6’0” and it is plenty high enough to support both of us. Purchased for my youngest’s nursery, which is a smaller room. Been using it since January (9 months) PROs: 1. Comfortable 2. Came with the ottoman 3. Looks great 4. Smaller 5. Storage in ottoman 6. Great price point CONs: 1. Stains somewhat easily 2. Ottoman doesn’t rock too (not a problem for me, but might be for some) 3. Smaller I know I put smaller on the pros and cons. This WAS intentional! I had a smaller room to work with so I wanted a smaller profile. But, this does come at a price. My son is almost 9 months, and it’s not as comfortable to rock him or feed him in the chair. I had a fuller size glider with my first, and they’re same sizes at this age but this wasn’t the same problem. I’m 5’7” and normal weight. The chair is fine for me. If I was larger, I’m not sure. If I was taller - also not sure. Overall, I am super happy with this purchase. It’s a great quality chair that has modern lines and is good looking. It’s best for the younger months, though, because we’re getting uncomfortable as my son gets bigger! ... show more

We love this rocking chair and ottoman. My husband (6'1" and myself 5'5") fit comfortably in it. We will have our baby in a few weeks and can update if I remember to, but I imagine we will enjoy rocking the baby in this chair. We are using the ottoman for blankets and swaddles that we want near us or extra toys, etc. The only con I have to share is that although we fit in the chair, it could have been made just slightly larger. Would be nice if it was taller on the back so you could rest your head on the chair (mostly an issue for my husband's height) but overall it was a good purchase for the price and we look forward to using it! ... show more

The glider is very comfortable and the ottoman has plenty of room for storage. This would have been a 5 star review, except if you are not perfectly centered in the chair as other reviews have mentioned there is a horrible scrape/grinding feeling and noise as you try to rock. The media could not be loaded. Comfort is relative. Slimmer than it appears online but not incredibly narrow. I’m petite 5’2”. So this chair isn’t as wide or comfy for my husband. It suits his arm length better than mine, which I expect will make nursing interesting. Reviews showed issues with shipping and delivery as well as damage and grease spots. I had no issues. The back did have a small like spot the size of an apple but I just had to oxi clean it out before scotch guarding it. And I have a feeling I will be scotch guarding this several times over the next year. Fabric feels great! The color is cream and not too too white or cream. Has no brown tones to it. Seems very sturdy and well made. I splurged on this item as I never bought one with my first baby and wished I did. So I’m hoping the fabric and the glide hold up as I’ve read of piling and squeaking after a short time. Will update after baby is here and have got some use of it. ... show more
