I have had a number of the pulse pumps and even though I ran a very good filter ahead of them I had poor reliability. This pump costs a bit more however I am expecting longer life. If it fails prematurely then I will come back and remove some stars. However at this point our 1929 Franklin Sedan is now happy! ... show more

    • A very good choice for those who want better than the cheapest but aren't up for the high dollar units.
We used this in a `48 Dodge 1 Ton pickup that's still on 6V. It's working quite nicely and solved some issues we were having with the cheap "inline" micro pumps. Flows plenty and runs quite happily but I would recommend an electrical relay and some additional vibration insulation where possible.

i bought this item last Sept but did not get time to install until 3 days ago. After installing it worked for a day then quit. I took it off and bench tested which showed it was defective, I was a service manager for a Ford dealership for several years so I am qualified to install and test fuel pumps correctly. ... show more
