  • Iffy
It is a cut-to-fit bar - you have to cut both ends equal, so two cuts. I did mine with an industrial bandsaw - I would hate to have to do it with a hacksaw. Once you cut the ends it becomes flimsy because it's slotted. I think it would be better if it had shorter slots with webs you could grind out if needed. The L-brackets that clamp it in place are flimsy, and don't exactly line up with the outside of the rain gutter so they don't seem all that secure - I may end up making custom L-brackets for mine. There is a slot thing designed to tighten them with a screwdriver but it doesn't work very well. The holes were way too big for my lights (5/8" vs 1/4"). Maybe the K/Cs have bigger studs, but I had to use grommets and fender washers for mine. Lastly - this thing whistles really loud at 60MPH. It's ear-piercing. Overall, OK for $110. ... show more

  • Simple and secure
Good quality bar. Easy to install and has plenty of pre drilled holes to put lights where you want them. I was able to fit 6 hella 700ff lights on when installed on 89 Bronco

  • Follow ALL Directions!
Installation was very straightforward. One item will remain left to do after the initial installation: Re-tighten the screws after a week or two! This is important to do, as the rubber cushions will slightly deform after a week or so, leaving the brackets slightly loose.

  • If you have a curved roof it will not clear it, not much clearance.
I put it together and found that it bottomed out on the center of the roof, i could not get the cutter clips in one of the gutters without is hitting the roof and scratching the paint. If you have a very flat roof then great, if not then I don't suggest you buy it.

  • Worked for what I used it for.
Bolted this guy to my chase rack to get more light mounting locations, its nice and sturdy but she does howel though some unused holes. Tossed some tape over them while I have some grommets in the mail. Wish it was cheaper however, but I wish that on alot of stuff I buy...

  • Glad I went with this and not a Led light bar!
Great light bar, sturdy and well made! ***Remember to order the rain gutters*** when ordering this light bar AND you will also need to MESURE and CUT the light bar to fit your veichle! It Fits FOUR 6" kc lights. (Two Spot lights & Two Spread beams)

  • Awesome looking light bar
Awesome looking light bar. Not for anyone afraid of cutting and measuring, a lot of back and forth fine tuning required to get it right. But looks great when done.

  • Nice, medium duty light bar.
I took a chance when the system told me this would not fit the Bronco2. With a little measuring and offset cutting, it really fits nicely. I do suggest it be place about 2 inches forward of the back edge of the doors or it will sing between 50 and 60 mph (less in a head wind)..lol. Where it is now (as described) It sits nicely and I haven't heard any whistling from it at all. I also suggest the "security bolts" be replaced with 1/2"-3/4" long 1/4-20 stainless hex bolts. The security bolts round out too easily when tightening down. ... show more
