It arrived rolled and wrapped in plastic. Very easy to unpack and it flattened out nicely after a day or two. The rug was clean and didn’t have any odors or chemical/factory snells. It does slide pretty easily, but it doesn’t bother me as I now have furniture on top of it to hold it in place. You might consider getting a backing if that’s a concern for you. I’m blown away by the quality of these rugs... After buying the first one, I now own 8 of them, one for each room. You will NEED to buy anti-slip for the bottom of them if you’re putting them on wood floors. I’m more than pleased !!!

Love the rug - it’s a nice thickness and the wrinkles from being rolled/shipped relaxed within 2 days. The colors are not as rich/dark as they appear in the photo, which was a big disappointment, but the colors still work with with room and furniture so we kept it. Just wish it was darker.
