I love these roasting sticks. They are really sturdy. They are made really well. I like that they extend to 34". The best part is the color wheel that has two features. The first is that they are different colors so everyone can tell which roasting stick is theirs by the color. The second feature is that you can turn the color wheel with your thumb and it will turn the stick as you are roasting your marshmallow, hot dog, etc. The bag it comes in to hold the sticks is great and each roasting stick has little red caps to keep on while you are NOT roasting because the points are sharp which they should be. Also, there is also a little bag with extra red caps just in case you may loose some caps. I bought one 6 pack and love them so much I bought another 6 pack. Bought these before I went on a two day camping trip with my buddy’s and they are pretty good for the price, most stores will sell one of these for this 6 pack so it’s a good deal, I like that they are color coded and are a decent length, the durability of these are decent, when using them for hot dogs the poles would bend a lot because of the weight, but if used for just s’mores you will have no problem and will be great for it, one of the sticks did end up snapping at the handle after attempting to put on two hot dogs but to be fair I was pushing the limits of the durability but still great for the price and quality overall ... show more

Yes. You could go get a stick and pop a marshmallow on it. But finding the right stick? And not having the stick catch on fire before your marshmallow is toasted or your hot dog roasted? Seriously, these work great. The packaging is cute. The storage bag is nice. The little tip protectors are very helpful - and they throw in a few extra ones. The color coded rings make it easy to keep them sorted out. Turning the ring to rotate the prongs is fun and handy. They are easy to clean and easy to store. Great quality. Would make a nice gift. We love this product. Used it twice in the past week. Sturdy enough considering it is the retractable type. Have not used it with hotdog but I would anticipate some sagging due to the weight of the hotdog vs the marshmallow. I would recommend the manufacturer to blunt the tips a little so that user wont injure themselves cleaning the tips during cleaning. It wont take much sharpness to spear the marshmallow or hotdog. As far a cleaning I would just scrub the tips with a soapy sponge and rinse/wipe the rod with warm water holding the rod tips face down to avoid water from getting inside the rod. Don't remember if the material is rust proof but its best to avoid water from getting inside the rod. ... show more

I purchased these roasting sticks primarily for their extendable feature, allowing for convenient collapse during storage—a perfect replacement for my fixed-length sticks that posed storage challenges due to their length. The included drawstring bag serves as an excellent portable storage solution. One notable feature is the protective tips, effectively covering the sharp points when not used. Plus, they included some spares just in case they are lost, which is thoughtful. We've been using these sticks for nearly two years in April, and they have been reliable. We utilize them during camping trips and around our home firepit, finding their extended length sufficient to keep a safe distance from the fire while roasting marshmallows or hotdogs. The rotating feature is nice, making it easier to turn food for an even browning. I love that there are 6 sticks and that they extend to 34”. You can actually sit back in your chair and still be able to roast marshmallows. The fact that you can turn whatever you are roasting over with just a turn of the wheel with your thumb is an added bonus. If you feel it spins too freely just rest your thumb on the wheel. No problem. My future son-in-law was also super impressed with these. At first he didn’t extend his all the way out. Then he saw that it could extend farther and his jaw dropped. Our whole family loves them and because they were color-coded we did not get them mixed up. In between roasting you can shorten them too so that they are not in anyone’s way. They came with extra tips for the ends. We just put the ones we were using in a little cup while we were roasting but if you lose a tip, you can always stick straws that are cut a little longer than the prongs over each prong. I have done that in the past with a set of turkey lifters and it works. Judging by the interactions with the questions, the company who sells these are ready to help. There are a lot like these out there but looking at the reviews lookalikes don’t always mean they are the same. Judge for yourself. I can’t say enough about these. ... show more
