I've been wearing a wrist brace to support a possible (undiagnosed) carpal tunnel issue in my right hand. I have the the numbness in my fingers, tingling, whole arm/fingers fall asleep and feel like needles and pins if I sleep on it wrong. I bought another brace previously, back in December and wore it daily to work, and even to bed at times when I really was having to overuse my hand at work. It was amazing to me how well it worked to keep the worst of the numbness and pain away. Moving forward to a week and a half ago.... I took my brace off after work, and lo and behold, it's gone missing. I've torn up the house and car looking for it. I went two days without a brace, and regretted it. I didn't remember in my desperation, to look back at my previous Amazon orders just to order a replacement. Instead, I ended up buying this one. Let me just say, compared to my last, this one is just not good. I have MONTHS of wearing a brace to make a comparison. I don't know how this brace manages to feel flimsy and yet immobilizes my hand to to the point that all I can do is wiggle my fingers. And yet...it's flimsy. I can't tighten it in a way that actually helps. I wore it to bed the first night, and work up with my fingers tingling, so it definitely wasn't doing the job I needed it to do. I've put it on at the onset of the pain and tingling, and don't feel the immediate relief that I felt with my previous brace. My suggestion to the makers of this product is that it needs a redesign. My number one issue with it is that the upper velcro tighter is too highly placed. Why is it all the way up on the lower half of my hand? How does that placement help with WRIST support? And then the second lower velcro band is again, too low to actually do anything either. I appreciate the idea that the metal piece is removable, however the brace is completely saggy and useless without it. Without the metal, I could tighten it, but it was like wearing a thin saggy dress sock, and again, since the velcro is poorly placed, it actually did little to nothing to compress my wrist to help my issue. Would I recommend? Oh, no, definitely not, especially if you need wrist support. I did just look through all my past orders and was able to find my previous brace, which is by Carpal Tunnel Solutions. That one has the velcros properly placed. The Small/Medium fit me perfectly as a petite 5' tall female. I would recommend the M/L for anyone else. Take the time to look that one up if you need both the metal stabilizer and the wrist support. ... show more

This brace worked OK and definitely supported my wrist, but the metal reinforcing band inside wore through the "leather" covering in only a few short days of light use. For this reason, only, I would not recommend this product.

    • Instant relief for carpal tunnel pain

I've been experiencing considerable pain, tingling and numbness in my left arm. From my elbow to my fingertips. It used to be manageable.. ie relax your hand, hang it loosely at your side for a few seconds.. etc.. but its been getting worse and worse. I finally broke down and ordered this brace to see if it would help. Oh my God it works immediately and provided almost instant relief from the pain. I can now sleep through the night in comfort. I can work with this brace on as well. There is a little bit of loss of dexterity, but I am able to type, carry things etc. Ultimately, I am going to have to have the surgery, I am sure of it. But in the mean time, this brace has really helped provide much needed relief until that time comes. I do not know if this can be a permanent solution for carpal tunnel syndrome, but it definitely helps with the symptoms. ... show more

I have strained the tendon going down the back of forearm. Swells etc. I needed something comfortable to go abouty day and night and still function but keep forearm and wrist safe and restrict movement comfortably. Tried several. Annoying hot. Not keeping wrist and arm secure. This arrived and I am Soooo happy. It is indeed comfortable. Secure. Keeps wrist and forearm secure and straight. But can still use my fingers if I need to. We aren't sure how I got this problem. I am 73. Disabled but active. Could have done something or. From holding my phone too much to play spades. Regardless this is the first easy adjustable thing that I think will help me heal. It is sturdy bit not so heavy to be a problem it is way cheaper than other braces I tried and tossed out Very very happy. After a fair trial I will likely get a second to switch while cleaning one etc. Happy!!!!!!0 ... show more

When I first bought this item around October, my wrist was in immense pain due to carpal tunnel. I bought this based on a recommendation from a friend and it did help alleviate symptoms for a couple of weeks, and eventually, my symptoms disappeared. I stopped using it and eventually my symptoms came back, probably because I work online and we are during quarantine so I've gotten a SURGE of new orders. I busted it out again, but I noticed that it started to wear down very quickly. Especially the straps which were falling off, a week into reuse, making it hurt whenever I involuntarily bent my wrist. So I'm not going to knock it down and say it's a horrible product. It did work for a while, but that while just wasn't long enough for me to justify buying it. Remind you it's a product for infrequent use, I expect to last at least a few months of continued use, and years of infrequent use. I hope the seller looks into a more sturdy design because I believe this product could be amazing once more development goes into it. ... show more

OK, I admit that my wrists are slender for a man, but I should say that they're not abnormally skinny or anything. The strap closest to my thumb is fine, but the strap further way from my thumb has to be pulled so tight that the velcro just barely engages and still the strap seems loose -- I'd definitely like it to be tighter. I guess in a glass-half-full kind of way there definitely enough room under there to insert an ice pack. But no, returned. Too loose on my wrist. ... show more
