Description

Ensure your food stays at optimal serving temperatures with the Carlisle Cateraide PC300N03 portable food pan carrier designed for professional caterers. Made from rugged polyethylene plastic in an unobtrusive black color, the Cateraide is insulated to keep food hot or cold for 4 to 6 hours. Measuring 25 x 24 x 17 inches (H x W x D), the Cateraide PC300N03 fits easily into catering vans and kitchens. The high-strength plastic construction ensures long-lasting durability even with frequent transport. The Cateraide is designed to make your job easier featuring a unique end-load design and individual tracks for each pan allowing for flexible configurations. The food pan carrier can accommodate one of the following pan configurations: five 2 1/2" deep pans. Three 4" deep pans and one 2 1/2"deep pan. Two 6" deep pans and one 2 1/2" deep pan. one 6" deep pan, one 4" deep pan and two 2 1/2" deep pans; four 2 1/2" deep pans and one 4" deep pan, two 2 1/2" deep pans and one 6" deep pan.

I initially tried this product when cooking on a small scale...(one pork butt -or- one brisket). When there isn't a lot of food at service temperature to fill it, it is difficult to maintain 140F+. When used to park about eight pork butts at 140F...it worked gloriously. Verified with a digital thermometer I was able to hot hold pork butts and transfer to a serving line with no problems. When used with hot food in all pans it is terrific. The door comes off easily for cleaning. the handles are nice for two-person lifts into a truck or onto a wagon. There are slots on the sides to park a various number of service trays. Very nice. ... show more

I questioned the door seal when I first looked took it out of the book. I ran a temp retention test and a pot of hot water lost more than 100deg F I. 4 hours and left a pool of water on the floor from the steam escaping. I placed a flashlight inside and you can see the open cannot seal. I am a mechanical guy and cannot fix this, nor should I have to for the price. I will be returning this and buy a Cambro for 55% more. Unfortunately I need this for an even this weekend. ... show more

We took 4 pans of pulled pork to a graduation party at 4pm. Pulled out the last pan at 10pm and we still had to use oven mitts. Keeps food warm for hours!

    • Quality - Fit and finish.
The top of the door is warped letting warm air escape. The seal on the door doesn't even touch the body. - Right in the center of the door. All it needs is a door. I can't find anyway to contact the manufacturer.
