CARDONE Remanufactured Rack & Pinions are re-engineered, built and tested to meet or exceed O.E. fit and performance. 100% new, O.E.-style o-rings and seals are installed to ensure leak-free, long-lasting performance. A final protective coating is applied and each unit is tested to guarantee a perfect fit and function. Units undergo full hydraulic testing for proper flow, leakage and performance to ensure perfect fit and function (where applicable). Valve housings have polished micro-finish sleeves for durability (where applicable)

Just over the 30 day return and the rack and pinion blew out all the power steering fluid from both sides! Defective seals were installed on the rebuild most likely. Cheap crap!

Came with everything and the instructions were very thorough! I did have to purchase a new in line filter, but the local auto parts store had one in stock! They had notes in the package to tell you how to get the alignment close enough to safely drive to an alignment shop! Great product. I do however now have a leak and am investigating whether it is the rack itself or the lines. It came with new orings for the lines and I did use them. I will update in a few days. If the rack is bad I will update the rating accordingly. Update: The pressure hose was leaking at the fitting and I replaced it. I went through the bleed process to make sure there were no air bubbles in the system. I tested it in the driveway with no leaks. The next day I and a 4 hour drive to go camping in the mountains with my son. Once I hit the winding roads, no power steering. Very dangerous! It is leaking from the driver's side and I am not happy about it leaking after all the money I have put into it now. It is a great kit if only it would not leak..... ... show more

First I want to thank everyone, including the company, for trying to help me out. It was dark and I was tired when I did the work but I had the 2 1/2 inch bolts on the steering shaft backwards smh. I flipped them around and all the play is gone. Literally feels like a new truck! Thanks again
