This was very high quality. I have played for several years and this is my new favorite paddle. I love the texture on the face that will allow for greater spin and control. The handle feels great and I love that it comes with extra tape as well as a nice bag to hold it all. No regrets at all.

I'm an intermediate player, maybe low-intermediate or social-intermediate, and my game is control and spin, not so much power and speed. And for this type of player (me!) these paddles are just perfect. The value is amazingly good for all that you get and I'll mention the highlights here: Carbon fiber is indeed the T700 thermoformed that's very solidly bonded layers - but still a nice soft core that's thick and increases dwell time for control. Big sweet spot results from that. Paddle surface is the -raw- carbon fiber and it's based on a thin epoxy layer at the top which allows a pattern-pressed uniform roughness of the top layer of fiber to come through and provide a pretty durable fine-grain gripping surface. It works beautifully, and is done well on these paddles. Shape of the paddle is ideal, giving a bit of extra reach for me. Love that, and love the square corners also for reach. Long handle lets me change hand placement and it's comfy enough I don't need to re-wrap it. No irritating ridges in the grips - thank you for that! Edge guards soft but pretty much integral, which just means well pressed in and securely set in the epoxy - and low enough they don't get in my way. That's fine and I'm getting to prefer guards over 'edgeless' since they protect a good bit better. Totally recommend these for all the above reasons and more. They have improved my game and I think are suitable for any level - if they're in your budget, they're about the best you'll find at this value level. Wonderful paddles! ... show more

Do not let the name deter you, this is a really nice thermoformed honeycomb carbon paddle. The handle is grippy yet it dissipates moistures easily. The raw carbon face makes for great control and feedback. Paddles should not break the bank and this one checks all the boxes without breaking the bank.
