  • My 450 Foreman is back running like it was new!
Pro’s: works like a new oem carburetor, easy to swap out, price can’t be beat Con’s: doesn’t have a fuel/ air mixture screw, not really sure on longevity

  • Had to re-jet for high altitude, but it works good enough.
I have a 2003 Foreman 450S. Idle is all over the place, so I may need to figure something out there (to be fair, this ATV has a myriad of other issues, I just don't recall erratic idle being one of them! My OEM carb needle/seat was worn and wouldn't adjust. Honda OEM float needle/seat was more than this whole carb! FYI...it had starve issues, but idle was steady.) Came with a #127 main jet (which was a good decision from them since the stock is a #130) but I'm at ~5,000 ft above sea level and I needed to purchase and install a #120 to avoid running rich (as Honda service manual recommends.) I was getting flooded, backfiring, and generally getting terrible gas mileage until then. If you operate at altitudes like me, you'll probably want to do the same thing! ... show more

  • As advertised
Easy to install. Runs great and is easier that rebuilding the old carb.

  • It works ok.
It works ok. Can not get the low speed adjustment just right, it either fouls the plug or is too lean, I had to get the hottest NGK plug I could get just to where it would idle decent. Idle quality isn’t real good. But it does run and works. Low speed screw had a very slow leak at first but I think I got it to stop. I bought this for a Foreman that had been sitting for 10 years. ... show more

  • Good News Bad News
So I buy this carburetor, and I go to install it. It says it's for a Honda 450 ES. It looks the same, sorta. It fits, sorta. The fuel filter they include is for a 1/8" fuel line, but this carb has a 5/16" line. In other words, it won't fit into the line. The fuel intake on the OEM was pointed 45 degrees forward (10-11 o'clock) but the fuel intake on this carb is 12 o'clock. Fuel line won't reach without a stressful bend. I added a proper sized fuel filter into my line, 3" above the carb, and that gave me enough to reach the fuel inlet. The electric doo-dad had the wrong kind of plug, but I swapped my old one in. The good news? It started right up. Idles great. Runs great. ... show more

  • Exceeded my expectations!
When I ordered this carb I was a little skeptical, I mean an OEM is pretty expensive so when I saw how much this one was, I was leary. They proved me wrong! Although it was not a 100% OEM match, it bolted up perfect as far as placement and the throttle and needle are concerned. I did have to buy a longer fuel line, but no big deal. This carb has my Foreman running better than it ever has. After installing, it started right up and needed just the smallest throttle adjustment. If I ever have to replace another, definitely coming back! ... show more

  • Not a direct fit for my 1999 Honda Foreman as was indicated.
I had to swap out the heating element because the wire connected was not the same as original and would not work. Also the fuel supply connection was not oriented correctly and it was very difficult to get the fuel line attached. One of the other connections I had to remove content from the replacement carb to enable it to work. It seems to be working pretty well but I am worried about the fuel connection point. ... show more

  • Inexpensive but good quality, runs very well
2001 Honda Foreman 450ES have overhauled carburetors in the past needed quick so went with this carburetor already built runs good no adjustments needed and wasn’t hard to install because I’ve taken carburetor off of this 4 wheeler many times overhauling before
