Amazon recommended that I wear a medium. I guess these are supposed to be long and slouchy. However, I ordered a small and I'm very happy with it! I wanted it a bit cropped. Not hanging down my legs or past my bottom. I am 5'2 123 pounds and the small fits me slouchy on the arms but not too long of sleeve length. The cuff comes to the correct arm length on me. The back comes down to my bottom but does not hang over it to my legs. I like the appearance and weight of the sweater. I planned on wearing it open for a particular outfit I want to wear on Christmas so you can see the bow waist tie on my trousers and silky camisole. However, the sweater is ample big enough to button as well. So after looking at the submitted photos from people, I knew I'd better order small and not the suggested medium. Overall very happy. Comfy, Soft and Cozy. Fit is true to size. Only semi-con is that bottom banding of sweater is stitched in a way where there is no stretch in the waist which seems odd and is not a benefit.
