Only had a short while but saved me the cost of a $200 battery. Brought back a 6 year old diesel truck Maxx Everstart battery. Used pulse mode and tuned up another from slow cranking to like new turnover of the engine. certainly won't fix all batteries but just one is all it takes to be worth it. Re: Foxsur model FBC1206D Pulse Repair Battery Charger I am returning this item. This unit emits excessive radio frequency energy and should not be used in proximity of any radio receiving equipment. The unit was bench tested under light load and monitored at 14 Mhz at a signal level of S-9 +40dB at 50 feet from the receiving antenna. Because of the wide band nature of the interference, this unit may cause harmful interference to FAA air traffic control frequencies. A similar unit manufactured by others was tested as well with satisfactory, interference free results. Although the Foxsur unit label indicates FCC acceptance, retesting is recommended.     • revived a dead battery that sat for over a year outside
title says it all. I love this machine. saves me tons of money because I don't have to go and buy new batteries, I can just revive them. I've used it and a bunch of my buddies as well to revive their old batteries and it works like a charm. It's pretty quiet too so it doesn't bother you. Looks great & works great! ... show more

This Excellent price point 12V, 6Amp smart charger that has 3 modes ( Car, AGM, Motorcycle) and a repair mode for batterys that are very discharged or been sitting awhile. Instructions are well written (multiple languages) and this charger is very easy to use. The LED display is very good, and you can read it even in high brightness! (I included a close up of the display, however LEDs are hard to photograph! ) I tested this charger using all three modes ( different chemistry's or Amp Hour ratings) and each mode fully charged to " Full" and then went into a " float" mode. This is a fairly small device, so it does require a cooling fan, however, it is multi-speed and at full speed it's still fairly quiet ( 50db). As the charging current requirement is reduced, the fan slows downs and almost can't be heard. During the float mode, the fan is still running but at a very slow RPM. This is a good intelligent fan implementation compared to some of the other chargers I have used lately. This product works well, charges correctly in all three modes, and is well constructed ! I did not test the repair mode since I don't have access to a battery that meets that requirement. In summary, this is a very good product and its purchase price ! ... show more

This is a nice battery charger for conventional car and AGM batteries. Its display shows the current state of charge, battery voltage and charging current. I drained down a spare battery in my shop and could see that it really did hit 6A on charge. The charger also has a lower 1.5A current mode for charging smaller motor cycle batteries and a ‘repair’ mode where it pulses current into the battery to try and recover a damaged battery. I have a couple of cars and a riding lawn mower that has a battery and so I like to keep all of the batteries fully charged and this does just that. It is really meant to be a trickle charger to keep your batteries in top shape and always fully charged and ready.
