This set was a christmas present for my daughter who wanted a bedroom makeover. The bed itself is nice and seems pretty sturdy once we got it completely assembled. However, watch the pieces. The beds canopy upright rails that make up the headboard and footboard are two different pieces as the headboard and footboard are different. There was suposed to be 2 of each rail. We were sent 3 headboard rails and 1 footboard rail. My husband did not want to take apart what we had already started on so we measured the hole placement on the missing upright footboard rail and drilled new holes. Not the hardest thing but also keep in mind we then had to grind away the metal around the opening so it was not too sharp for our daughter and you have a few unused holes that you cannot hide due to the fact it is the upright column. Some of the bed supports were a bit wonky and took some manhandling to get into place. I feel if we take this bed apart we would not be able to get it back together as well as some of those pieces took some abuse. Overall great value for the money but you may have your work cut out for you assembling it. ... show more

This bed frame is alright... not the worst definitely not the best my frame came damaged because all of the zip ties were previously cut. There was a page that you have to guess what bars go where in the instructions. The bars and screw holes on some pieces don’t quite Aline and you can see all the weld marks. Amazon took care of discounting for the damages that were previously done to it. Overall it’s just an ok bed frame. ( also if you hate to assemble stuff this bead frame is NOT for you it took me 4 hours to put together) but it is a sturdy frame and it looks good from afar. ... show more

Fairly easy to assemble, but an extra set of hands is helpful. I wasn’t thrilled about how the top rails connected... when you look up close they aren’t able to be perfectly connected. It does take up a lot of space and using a box spring makes it too tall to get into bed easily, but you don’t really need one because there are enough supports to hold a mattress without. ... show more

The price is great. However, the instructions completely fail to mention a significant part of how to setup the bed frame. The upper part of the bed doesn't connect well and does not appear straight. I still like the product, but it could have been better.

Pros: cute, bed parts were well labeled and easy to assemble, sturdy. Cons: box was damaged, customer service # is invalid, bad design for canopy attachment. Some posts are not straight and I'm not fond of the seams where the canopy attaches.

Instructions missing a buttload of labels and skipped many steps. We had to play the guessing game. Nothing lines up in an appealing way. Slightest movements rock it in scary ways.

Only thing I really don't like about it is the 2 bars you have to screw together. It doesn't make any sense to me. To me just having the bars all in once piece would be less of a headache.
