Perfect chair for a nursery! It doesn't take up too much space and it looks just like the picture. It glides smoothly without squeaking or creaking. I enjoy the reclining feature; it's very comfortable! And, it's not very difficult or loud to get the leg rest back in when it's time to stand up. My back feels supported while I sit upright. The chair is sturdy yet comfortable. These are all things I wondered about after reading other reviews so I am content. All in all a very good recliner/rocker. I was a little apprehensive about ordering such a large item through amazon but I’m glad I did. We love our rocker glider recliner. It’s very beautiful, functional, and comfortable. It works perfectly in our nursery. It makes comforting our baby easier while keeping us comfortable too. It was very easy to build for my husband. it started making a creeking noise a couple of days in but my husband just pushed down on the top portion with a little pressure to better secure it and it instantly stopped. Are you kidding with this? This chair is so nice! I spent a lot of time looking at rocking chairs. I even bought one for my other child not too long ago for way more and didn't like it. This is comfy and nice looking. I know some people complained about the kicker. I am only 5'1 and have no problems it went back in easily. My husband even said he wished we had 2 of these chairs! I would pay even more for this. This is one of those things you buy and cannot believe nice quality still exists. ... show more

This chair is comfortable enough and seems sturdy after 6 months of use but the foot rest is incredibly difficult to close. You have to put all your force into it with an aggressive swing of your legs. This is annoying in general but especially difficult when newly postpartum
