Pure Lamb & Brown Rice: Our dog has epilepsy so we need a very limited ingredient dog food to avoid triggers, and we really like this brand. It's one of the few that don't use chicken meal or egg in some of thier recipes. However, we had to switch the formula to include a grain and some of the bags we've received from Amazon have been rancid or don't smell right (unatural chemical smell). My most recent order was good, but the previous two were not. I'm such a fan of both Amazon and Canidea products, so I hope for consistency in the future. I thought I was getting a pretty fresh bag thru Amazon until I recently purchased a bag from Petco. The bag I got from Petco looked fresher and the color was significantly darker.

Dog has allergies to non fish food. Only food I have found that does not contain other meat fillers. Picky dog loves to eat it as well.

We switched to Canidae about 10 mts ago because our girl is allergic to chicken and turkey. Her coat was terrible and she had loose stools. We’ve had no issues since switching and her coat is the best ever. .

Our 2 year old yorkie bischon was accustomed to eating homemade food I prepped for her, the Vet said no more, so we had to switch. The thing is I started making her food because she wouldn't eat conventional dog kibble have bags almost full of a few different ones.
