  • American Owned, USA Made! Now with Cinch Lock! NO HOOK & LOOP TO FAIL! 3 black gear leashes included and 1 carabiner. Hardware imported.1 leash for the paddle, 2 additional leashes for rods or other light gear. If a super long leash is needed, they simply loop together.
  • Fixed elongation, Will not over stretch and loose elasticity. Woven construction and long bar-tack sewn, Built to last.
  • 20 inches of elongation keeps it out of the way but gives you the reach you need when paddling or reeling in the big one.
  • Leashes, good for the water or the woods to keep your light gear safe.

  • A good purchase
I liked this. It doesn't feel loose or anything- it feels like a single unit when assembled. It's easy to pop together and fairly light, so I was able to strap it onto my bike to get to the lake. Came in a good bag with half netting so it can finish drying after landing. The paddle parts in particular are solid, not flimsy. They would bend slightly with force, but are not likely to deform under normal conditions. As far as usage, they did the job very well. I move along at a pretty good pace and don't ever consider needing to upgrade. The drip stoppers on each side did a great job of keeping water out of the one person raft. They do also have the alternate holes so the paddles can be set to different orientations. ... show more

  • Good product, good deal (3 leashes for $12 plus a carabiner).
I like these leashes and would recommend them. They measure 38 inches, unattached, at rest and 59 inches pulled to the max, unattached, end to end. They have loops built into each end to attach to your kayak and to your fishing rod, paddle etc., one end has a slightly larger loop. The ones that I bought a year and a half ago were green and the ones that I just got are black. I connect these to the milk crate behind my seat in my kayak (see picture) and these are long enough for me to reach behind me, grab a rod, bring it up to me in the seat and undo the leach from the rod and fish with it. When I’m changing rods or done fishing for the day, I connect the leash again. When they are not in use, I roll them up and stuff them in the rod tube as in the picture. I don’t fish with a leash on my rods because sometimes I’m sitting, sometimes I’m standing and I swap between my right and left hand to cast so keeping the rod tethered doesn’t work very well. Even if all of that wasn’t the case, I still prefer to cast without it being tethered. I know that I’m taking a chance at losing a rod if I flip but I’ll take that chance. When I’m fishing moving water I stay seated and I do fish with my rod tethered but I fish in still water 80% of the time. ... show more

  • Very Helpful and Easy to Use
We purchased a 3-pack to use for our Emotion 6.5 ft kayaks as well as an inflatable kayak. We use a carabiner to attach each leash to its kayak and that works well. We bought our own carabiners because we color-code items to help the kids keep track of their stuff. We have only used the leashes for one summer so far, but they haven't broken yet despite being pulled and dragged and water-logged across multiple trips in various temperatures, altitudes, and waters. For example, my youngest dragged his kayak across the grass and just let the paddle drag beside it. This put a lot of tension on the leash, but it handled it like a champ. We also haven't had to worry about drying the leashes out in a special way. We just dry them in the sun and wind and they've been fine. Again, this is only our first summer, but they've been used over many weeks already. I am very pleased with this purchase. I got these on a whim, as a just in case thing--very glad I did! ... show more

  • Nice and light
Nice length and I really like how they lock tightly onto the rod handle and are compact - no interference with casting.

  • Light but Effective
I've gotten numerous uses from a couple sets of these I bought for my Oru Kayaks and it saved me from losing expensive critical gear when unintentionally flipping the boat. They even work well for girth hitching things that don't have attachment loops like paddles. The light weight beaner works fine for attaching to the boat. My only complaint was that 3 leashes wasn't quite enough for me so I bought a couple more sets so everything I carry can be lashed to the boat in the event of a rollover. Although light, I've even used them to tow another kayaker so they are reasonably strong. ... show more

  • Lanyards
I thought this would be three separate lanyards with Three separate clips it’s one clip on three lanyards. They are not bad. I just use separate clips for the other two. They could be a little bit longer, but they work for what I need them to do on my kayak.

  • The best!
2nd purchase. There are no clips that can break at the ends. I use these to attach every thing onto my kayak. As we add more kayaks to our family, we buy more of these. Paid off the last time I went under/flipped over. Paddle was wedged under some brush and difficult to get out in the fast moving water, but still attached to the leash and actually kept my kayak from floating away while I regained my bearings. ... show more
