This type of adapter (with a stationary platform and embedded knob) work so much better than most of the other types that have just a threaded platform. This doesn't fit tightly on any of my go pro mounts. However, it is very easy to cut a piece of duct/duck tape, put it on one of the legs and tightens up the fit nicely. ... show more

I bought this to mount my phone on the GoPro tripod with an adapter that attaches to this. The legs on this are too thick to mate with name brand parts properly. Very sad. I had to force it on the tripod and it did go on but I felt I was close to breaking my tripod over a cheap metal adapter. Real sad I was hoping this would have been perfect. ... show more

Was looking for a gopro/camera screw mount adaptor for my quadlock mount mount. Previous plastic ones I've had never really tightened down as much as necessary with just a regular knob. This doesn't just screw down but also has a couple of holes to use an alan wrench to tighten further and secure from becoming unscrewed. It works great my gopro connections and selfie sticks.
