It was really sturdy and easy to put on because you automatically grab the camera like to hold it the way the hand strap is, so it is a natural spot to have it,, the only thing I would suggest is that the bracket on the bottom have two different types, one that is just lat, and the other it came with had a raised spot for additional straps to hook on,, that is really nice, but if I dont want to use that then I have this bar sticking up in my camera case that takes up weird space,, but that's just me. other then that it really is a great way to hold the camera and the weight is not all in the fingers but the wrist ! that is also nice. ... show more

The camera wrist strap works pretty much as I expected. My only disappointment is that the one I picked was labeled red and there is no red in it at all. It has a little deep maroon, but not at all what I expected when I selected red.

I love the fit of this camera strap. It works perfectly on my Canon. Had a small problem with the set screw breaking. Contacted the seller and asked for a new set screw. The sent me a complete new strap, so 10 stars for customer service.

    • It's All About the Base
Color: Black
Concept seems correct. Fumbling with a camera neck strap and wrapping it around the wrist to get it out of the way or an alternative way to carry a camera instead of around the neck or over the shoulder. What I don't like about this hand strap is the base, the part that attaches to the bottom of the camera body is "L" shaped instead of flat. When the camera is set down, it cants over to one side. True, the knob/screw attachment could do the same thing if the base was flat, but at least it is centered. The base attachment screw has a good size knob and provides excellent grip purchase to firmly sinch it down. That's the best part of this device. If using a small lens, camera body with no battery grip and smaller lens, say 24-105mm or 50mm on a day shoot or vacation, yeah, this would work. A large lens and, let's say, 7DMK2 with battery grip, nope. I'll stick with the provided neck strap to give my hand a break. Also, I don't trust the wrist strap, it pops off easy. Last gripe. The strap gets in the way when adjusting the shutter speed wheel and back focus buttons. I don't have large hands and have the strap loose to provide finger movements. So, basically my fingers are holding on to the camera body not the hand strap, what's the point? ... show more
