I avoid Camelbaks whenever I can because they are hot and floppy, but sometimes for a long ride you have to give in. This pack tries to solve those problems by fitting tighter, riding higher (so less of your back is covered), and giving you access to you jersey pockets. It is mostly a success. Riding higher does give better access to pockets and makes less of your back sweaty. It doesn’t bounce around, in fact for me (male rider, 42 inch chest) it is a bit too tight. I was able to make it work by maxing out the front and side straps, but if you are bigger than me beware. The bladder holds 1.5 L, which is a nice size, for longer rides a carry a water bottle too. Front strap pockets are handy with a zippered phone pocket on one side (that fits my iPhone Pro Max just fine) and a smaller stretch pocket on the other for a cliff bar or goo. Pocket space in the back in minimal, it will hold a windbreaker and a few tools but not a helmet. ... show more

Got this for a rave. I’ve had one of these before and I didn’t like how it put pressure on my shoulders. This backpack is much smaller, and has lots of storage! I’m 5’6 145 lbs. husband is wearing the black, he’s 6’3. The straps fit around him with a 43 inch chest.

I didn’t even think I’d hit 20miles. But this vest kept me so fueled with the 2L bladder and so much storage room. I brought salt tabs, gels and chews. It fits very nicely. The pack size was perfect for what I needed; however the bladder leaked at both the fill spout, and the connection between the bladder and the drinking tube. I’m not even 60 yet and didn’t think I needed to worry about a leaky bladder for a few more years.

I have multiple camelbaks. this is my smallest and lightest. Was originally purchased for running. Snugs up well so no bouncing around. large range of adjustment. Have started using it while cycling. does not keep water cool at all but very important, it does not make me sweat additionally while cycling. 5 pockets Gue and phone go in the front. Crash pack and wallet go in the back. There is room for a hide away rain jacket. Gue is easy enough to access while riding one hand. I added insulation to bladder and drinking tube to keep water cool while riding. Weight difference is not noticeable but comfort sure is. ... show more
