This light is bright. The fixture has a good look and is (cliche) built like a tank, and so is the yoke. It comes with a case almost the size of a travel suitcase but without wheels. The ballast is bulky and needs to sit on the floor, which reminds me of those HMI ballasts. Wish there was a way to attach it to the stand. The dimming isn't as smooth as I wanted it to be. You can definitely hear the fan when it's running, but I don't see myself putting it next to a mic. I'm really liking it so far, especially considering the price. But I gotta wait and see if it's gonna last. ... show more
