The RV hose won't impart a strong plastic taste to the water. This PVC hose is BPA-free. Made of NSF-Certified FWH Hose. Certified to NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 for drinking water. Product is UV stabilized for lasting performance. It is CSA low-lead-content certified and compliant with California’s AB1953 and Vermont Act 193 Low Lead Laws. Made in the USA. Use it for filling my boat with drinking water. It’s laid out in the weather 24/7 and after about a year gets dirty and sticky and starts marking up the boat. So new one every year.
